October was a busy month! I have been revamping my blog a little, and though we are still working on the changes, they are mostly done. No more huge waits and long loading times! The home page now makes it easier to find things. My weekly lists had gotten so huge it was overwhelming, so I split the list up. I will now have a PERMANENT SALE LIST with hundreds of high rated discount, FREE and 99¢ books. Some have permanently become that price, and there is no way of knowing which ones, but why keep duplicating the same ones every week? So ALL of the sales will be on that page. My weekly list will just have the new releases, preorders, and the last 50-60 sale and free books added to the list. I hope you like the new changes. Let me know!
Without more rambling, here is my October recap and bestseller list! (Bestsellers are based on your clicks from my links).
Blog Tour – Without Merit by Colleen Hoover
“I don’t matter here, either. If I dropped out of life, just like I dropped out of school, everyone’s lives would go on. With or without Merit.”
Without Merit was one of the quirkiest books I ever read. This YA novel was completely unique and a bit odd, but it forces you to look at things from different perspectives. I gobbled this book down over two days and was completely engrossed in the story that was anything but predictable. It’s not quite a romance, but it is so different that I don’t think I could classify it in any genre, but I guess it’s all in how YOU look at it. I loved all the fun and quirky oddities, I loved the way it made me think, I love that I have been to the town, and I love that it was so different it zapped me out of my funk. Without Merit may be different, but it’s another winner from the genius known as CoHo.

Audiobook Review – How To Date A Douchebag: The Studying Hours by Sara Ney
“Sweetheart, Oz is a nickname. Haven’t you googled me yet?”
Amused blue eyes roll. “I’m sure you google yourself enough for the both of us.”
Shit, she’s right. I do google myself a lot.
Despite How To Date A Douchebag being a pretty popular trope (the jock and the nerdy girl), this story was refreshingly fun and felt unique anyway. I loved the chapter headings and the fact that Jameson was so smart and snarky. Though Oz acted like a douchebag, deep down, he was a good, smart guy and he totally grew on me. I really enjoyed this slow-burn friends to lovers romcom and look forward to listening to more in the series.

Book Review – Meet Me In Room 108 by Nikki Sparxx
The Platinum.
One night will make your dreams come true.
Meet me in Room 108. Midnight. Anything goes.
XOXO
Sabrina 315-447-9865
If you are looking for a super hot and sexy read with a decent amount of story and some action thrown in, Meet Me In Room 108 fits the bill, just remember this Pretty Woman type story is erotic romance so despite it having a good storyline, it’s still sex over story, so be prepared for a one-handed read!

Book Review – Most of All You by Mia Sheridan
Sometimes we wore such hurtful, limiting labels in this life, whether they’d been assigned by others or by ourselves. I’d felt damaged and ruined once, but I didn’t anymore. I was still a work in progress, but I wasn’t a victim. I was a survivor.
And Crystal was more than just a stripper. More than just a girl who took off her clothes for men. I knew she was. I’d seen it in her eyes.
Most of All You was a beautiful tale of healing, growth, finding one’s true self, and of course love. It’s a powerful, emotional story that never rushed itself. I completely fell for the soft yet strong Gabriel and his positive attitude and I loved watching Ellie’s growth throughout the story. I loved how it demonstrated that having support is so important to get started, but ultimately you need to find a way to love yourself before opening yourself to others. Once again, Mia Sheridan wrote a unique, quiet and soft, emotional gem with a subtle message.

Book Review – Dawn: Hero Society 1 by Jessica Florence
“Falling hopelessly.” I leaned my head in for a kiss, and he pressed a gentle one to my waiting lips.
“Hopelessly fallen,” he replied against them before giving me another peck.
Dawn: Hero Society #1 by Jessica Florence certainly satisfied my need for something a little different. A cross between paranormal, sci-fi and romance with romance being the most dominant, this unique story wasn’t anything like what I expected. I expected and wanted more cool superhero gifts like flying and invisibility, and got immortality, empath, and future seer. It looks like the hero in the next book has super strength and speed so I’m totally excited for that one. But still, despite my preconceived notions of powers, Dawn was filled with more romance and emotion than I expected, as well as some excellent set-ups for a long series that I look forward to sticking with. I think Dawn would be an easy transition for a reader who has never read paranormal or sci-fi.

Audiobook Review – The Coppersmith Farmhouse by Devney Perry
“Wait. What? I’d given in again!
I was definitely still messed up from our kiss because once again, even though I had just told myself to stay strong, I didn’t put up any kind of a fight.”
The Coppersmith Farmhouse had really good bones. There was a lot I loved about the story, and I listened straight through. But sadly, for me, the most important thing to me is that I love the characters, and while I liked her, I never liked him. He was an asshole from the start and didn’t even apologize well. He had some sweet moments, but mostly he just bulldozed over her to do whatever he wanted, and she would just give in any time he kissed her. I almost felt like this was the type of guy who would get more controlling and abusive as time goes by. I wanted to love this and binge on the series, especially because so many people compared it to Kristen Ashley, but for me, I’m not sure I want to risk a credit on the next in the Jamison Valley series.

Book Review – Drive by Kate Stewart
“I used to think I was cursed for having fallen in love with two men. But, in hindsight, I realized what a gift it was. They were my lovers, my teachers, my best friends, and I would love them both until I took my last breath.”
I don’t care if you don’t like love triangles, young characters or rock stars, READ THIS BOOK. Drive by Kate Stewart is a perfect example of why I started this blog. I want EVERYONE to know about and read this book. Not into music with your books? That’s OK, this is amazing with or without the music, it just enhances the story. Drive left me heartbroken, yet my heart is full. I know many are worried about the love triangle aspect, but there is no bed hopping going on. She is not cheating physically, but her heart is, and maybe it always would, because she will love both of these men forever.
It’s amazing how Kate Stewart manipulated my heart in Drive. I was so sure I felt one way, than BAM, I flip the other way. It kept me glued to the book and tuning out everything but the book and the songs. I think Drive will end up on an all-time favorite list of mine, it’s just that good. I usually won’t even think of giving 5 stars to a book with anything in the dislikes, but I feel so strongly about this one that I’m still giving it 5+++++ Stars.

Audiobook Review – Resistance on Ice by S.R. Grey
“We need to step back and concentrate on being friends, Nolan. And I mean just friends.”
Resistance on Ice was a fun and sexy sports novel that incorporated sports, romcom, 2nd chance and friends to lovers. It was a cute, fun way to pass the time and I enjoyed listening very much. A few things she did made her a little too stupid and doormat-like, but not to the point of me disliking her except for one really stupid move, but it was a pivotal scene. Though it stands alone fine, I think reading (or listening) to Destiny on Ice first would provide the best reading experience, especially if you like glowing green neon!

Audiobook Review – The Unblocked Collection by Marni Mann
“Because do you know what I want to do to you right now? I want to slide you up against that wall,” he eyes pointed to the other one behind me, “clench your earlobe between my teeth, and tell you how good you feel, while I fuck your ass so hard, every soul in this goddamn building will hear your moaning…”
The Unblocked Collection is and erotic romance, so expect a lot of really hot sex, but there was a good storyline with business, secrets, revenge and suspense as well. The sex was varied and leaned towards kinky and never felt boring or redundant, and despite how hot it was, I never felt like I was reading lady porn; there was an intelligent story amongst the heat. Having the phenomenal narrator duo of Joe Arden and Molly Glenmore was just icing on the cake.

Audiobook Review – The Negotiator by Avery Flynn
“Sawyer tried to remember the last time he’d had his ass handed to him on a silver platter that matched the spoon he’s been born with and came up blank. He definitely couldn’t remember a time when he’d enjoyed it quite that much.”

Audiobook Review – Claiming Grace by Susan Stoker
“Grace got up to walk out, and her father grabbed her arm, forced her to sit back down, and handcuffed her to the chair with her arms behind her.”
Claiming Grace was different than I expected from Susan Stoker. It was my first of her books, and despite me not fully buying into a 30 year old taking that kind of abuse, I was still on the edge of my seat and found myself driving around just to see what happens next. I read a number of reviews for this, and apparently Susan Stoker fans say it isn’t her best work. But I see the potential. I loved the balance of romance and suspense despite my eye rolling activities. I am glad I stuck with it past the first set of eye rolls and decided to suspend reality a bit and just enjoy myself listening. And I did. This will definitely not be my last Susan Stoker book.

Music . . . the heart’s greatest librarian.
The average song is three and a half minutes long; those three and a half minutes could lead to a slow blink, a glimpse of the past, or catapult the soul into heart-shattering nostalgia.
At the height of my career, I had the life I wanted, the life I’d always envisioned. I’d found my tempo, my rhythm. Then I received a phone call that left me off key.
You see, my favorite songs had a way of playing simultaneously. I was in love with one man’s beats and another’s lyrics. But when it came to the soundtrack of a life, how could anyone choose a favorite song? So, to erase any doubt, I ditched my first-class ticket and decided to take a drive, fixed on the rearview.
Two days.
One playlist.
And the long road home to the man who was waiting for me.
2. The Player (The Player Duet Book 1) by K. Bromberg

So, when an injury threatens to end Easton’s season early, the team calls in the renowned physical therapist, Doc Dalton, to oversee his recovery. She may be feisty, athletic, defiant, and gorgeous, but Easton is left questioning whether she has what it takes to help him.
Scout Dalton’s out to prove a female can handle the pressure of running the physical therapy regimen of an MLB club. And that proof comes in the form of getting phenom Easton Wylder back on the field. But getting him healthy means being hands-on.
And with a man as irresistible as Easton, being hands-on can only lead to one thing, trouble,/i>. Because the more she touches him, the more she wants him, and she can’t want him. Not when it’s her job to side in the club’s best interest if he’s ready to play.
But when sparks fly and fine lines are crossed, can they withstand the heat or is one of them bound to get burned?

There’s nothing ‘thin’ about my blue line, if you catch my drift, and trust me, I know how to put those handcuffs to good use.
***
Livia Ward wants a baby before she’s thirty. And even though Officer Chase Kelly is exactly the kind of cocky jerk this librarian has sworn off, he is undeniably hot. 8 (Tie). Well Hung (Big Rock Book 3) by Lauren Blakely
A hot and hilarious standalone romance in the #1 New York Times Bestselling Big Rock series.
Here’s what you need to know about me — I’m well-off, well-hung and quick with a joke. Women like a guy who makes them laugh. Even better if he’s loyal and hard-working. That’s me.
Enter Natalie. Hot, sexy, smart, and my new assistant. Which makes her totally off limits…
Hey, I’m a good guy. Really. I do my best to stay far away from the kind of temptation she brings to work. Until one night in Vegas…
Yeah, you’ve heard this one before. Bad news on the business front, drowning our sorrows in a few too many Harvey Wallbangers, and then I’m banging her. In my hotel room. In her hotel room. Behind the Titanic slot machine at the Flamingo (don’t ask). And before I can make her say “Oh God right there YES!” one more time, we’re both saying yes–the big yes–at a roadside chapel in front of a guy in press-on sideburns and a shiny gold leisure suit.
We’ll just untie the knot in the morning, right?
The trouble is . . . I don’t know how to keep my hands off my soon-to-be ex-wife.
8 (tie). Good Boy by Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy
Hosting her brother’s wedding for an MVP guest list is the challenge of Jess Canning’s life. Already the family screw-up, she can’t afford to fail. And nobody (nobody!) can learn of the colossal mistake she made with the best man during a weak moment last spring. It was wrong, and there will not be a repeat. Absolutely not. Even if he is the sexiest thing on two legs.
Blake Riley sees the wedding as fate’s gift to him. Jess is the maid of honor and he’s the best man? Let the games begin. So what if he’s facing a little (fine, a lot) of resistance? He just needs to convince the stubborn blonde that he’s really a good boy with a bad rap. Luckily, every professional hockey player knows that you’ve got to make an effort if you want to score.
But Jess has more pressing issues to deal with than sexy-times with a giant man-child. Such as: Will the ceremony start on time, even though someone got grandma drunk? Does glitter ever belong at a wedding? And is it wrong to murder the best man?
Caution: May cause accidental aspiration of tea or coffee. Do not read in a public place where loud laughter is inappropriate. Contains hot but hilarious hockey players, puppy cuddling and a snarky pair of underwear.

Available for the first time as a complete novel—the serial from the New York Times bestselling author that explores the dynamics of power and sex between two people who set the rules of desire…only to shatter them.
When unconventional hospice nurse Emma Shore secured a new position at the Breakers, the sprawling mansion of enigmatic and dangerously handsome racecar billionaire Michael Montand, she had no idea how soon she’d be drawn into his darker sexual games—or that it would be her own fantasies that would hold her captive.
Michael knew he shouldn’t have engaged such an innocent woman to share in his desires. But strong sexual appetites and selfishness run in his blood.
From Michael’s luxurious lakeside home to the sun-drenched, sensual shores of the French Riviera, Emma submits again and again to his intoxicating power. But she knows there is only one way to protect her heart.
The affair will continue, but under her conditions: Only she can end it, and when it’s over, they will part and never speak again of the things they dared to do behind locked doors.
10. My Best Friend’s Ex by Meghan Quinn
When I found an eviction notice taped on my apartment door, I had two options: find a comfortable cardboard box to call home, or move in with Tucker Jameson.
Seeing that cardboard makes me feel itchy, I chose the latter. Which shouldn’t be that big of a deal since Tucker is one of my good friends. And because he’s still pining after his ex-girlfriend and I’m trying to finish my nursing degree, there is nothing to worry about in the romance department, making my last semester an easy one to conquer.
Boy, was I wrong.
Rules are set, dinners are made, conversations are had, and a shirtless, swoony roommate walks around in nothing but a pair of black briefs, ruining me for every other man.
Before I know it, I turn into a panting, lust-filled woman begging for Tucker to kiss me, touch me, and show me exactly what is hiding under those briefs.
But with great orgasms, comes great consequences.
Tucker might be my friend and roommate but he’s also my best friend’s ex-boyfriend, making him completely off-limits. At least that’s what my brain is telling me, my heart is speaking an entirely different language.

2. Ghostface Killer by M. Never Narrated by Muffy Newtown & Jacob Morgan (epilogue)
Once, I was nothing. Hungry, abandoned, wandering, and alone. An adolescent street rat fighting for crumbs.
Then a chance encounter changed my entire world. A man in an expensive suit asked me how much my life was worth.
I didn’t have an answer because I didn’t know. He asked if I thought it was worth killing for.
Impulsively, I said yes….
He found me, then fostered me, and, in the interim, turned me into a killing machine. A modern day La Femme Nikita.
Now, I only have one mission. To avenge the death of the man who saved me.
There’s an invisible war on the streets. Us against them. Family against family. Power against power.
They call me Ghostface Killer because they never see me coming.
I understand the weight of that danger. The hazard. The jeopardy. Because, now, here I stand, three months pregnant with the barrel of a gun pressed to my head because I never saw him coming….
GFK is a romantic suspense with dark elements. Listener discretion is advised.

3. Moto by M. Never, Narrated by Jacob Morgan & Brooke Bloomingdale
What’s harder than resisting one Dane man? Resisting two.
I don’t date bikers. It’s my one cardinal rule. No rough, rugged, tattooed, egotistical maniacs on two wheels. Even if they are gorgeous and brilliant and sport the prefix Doctor. Bottom line, bikers are nothing but trouble.
T. R. O. U. B. L. E.
Dr. Devlin Dane has had his sights set on my panties for months. But I’ve done a stellar job of fending him off. As Mercy Medical’s most eligible bachelor, he has no problem in the panty-dropping department. He’s tall, dark, and inked all over. I get the appeal; I’m not dead. I’m not stupid either. He’s a walking heartbreak waiting to happen.
But when Reese Dane comes crashing into my life – literally- the game suddenly changes. Reese, the dark, brooding, motorcycle racing champion knows exactly how to apply the right pressure on and off the track.
The two have an unstoppable pull like centrifugal force, and both bad boy bikers are determined to take me on a high-powered ride I’ll never forget….
Moto is an unconventional (ménage) stand-alone novel. Spare panties and a box of tissues may be required.

5. How to Date a Douchebag: The Learning Hours by Sara Ney, Narrated by Josh Goodman & Muffy Newtown
He’s not a douchebag; but that doesn’t stop his friends from turning him into one.
My friends want me to get laid.
So much so that they plastered my ugly mug all over campus in bold printed letters:
Are you the lucky lady who’s going to break our roommate’s cherry?
Him: Socially awkward man with average-sized penis looking for willing sexual partner. You: Must have a pulse. He will reciprocate with oral. Text him at: 555-254-5551.
The morons can’t even spell. And the texts I’ve been receiving are what wet dreams are made of. But I’m not like these douchebags, no matter how hard they try to turn me into one.
This isn’t the kind of attention I want.
One text stands out from hundreds. One number I can’t bring myself to block. She seems different. Hotter, even in black and white.
However, after seeing her in person, I know she’s not the girl for me. But my friends won’t let up – they just don’t get it. Douchebags or not, there’s one thing they’ll never understand: Girls don’t want me.
Especially her.
