It’s no secret that I LOVE Tara Sivec. My blog is kind of an homage to her! Seriously, almost all of my favorite reviews and special posts are with Tara. One of my absolute favorite series is her Chocolate Lovers series, and the spin-off, Chocoholics. In fact, I loved it so much I HAD to meet the author, and developed Wicked Book Weekend (before signings were a thing) just so I could meet her. This February will be her 4th Wicked Book event, and I’m not sure I’d do it without her!

If you are not familiar with The Chocolate Lovers Series, let me just give you an idea of what you are missing.

The series is not only funny, it’s totally sexy too! You will totally want to hang out with all of the characters in The Chocolate Lovers Series! I have read all of the books several times, and even listened to the audiobooks, and I still love the crap out of them.

Seduction and Snacks: “I was trying to figure out a way to tell him his love mayonnaise had mad skills and no one at this table could stop talking about vibrators”

Passion and Ponies (Chocoholics #2) “I swear as soon as I set foot in this place I hear a choir of angels singing. As far as the eye can see, row after row, aisle after aisle, box after box–are sex toys. Metal shelving from floor to ceiling filled with boxes of beautifully crafted love machines. I don’t even realize I’m mumbling until Gavin punches me in the arm. “Were you just chanting ‘This is my home; this is where I belong’?”

Tara has tried her hand at a bunch of genres, from emotional, heart wrenching New Adult (Watch Over Me) to hot as fuck erotic romance (Burned), to a series of fun action/romance/suspense (Fool Me Once Series) to a series of Romantic Suspense (Playing with Fire Series) and she is amazing at all of them. But my hands-down favorite will always be the 12 year old humor of The Chocolate Lovers.

    I have read every one of her books. She is an amazing writer in any genre! I probably have almost every word highlighted, there are that many great and funny quotes. I laugh-snort while I’m reading her comedies and I am biting my nails during her romantic suspense novels.

I rbemmeer being very confused ( and sometimes stilll am) at coming of age from all those false images of women!Sometimes the male depictions of women make me laugh. They also encourage sexism from men.How brave of you to write such an article because feminism is so taboo!Cheers![]
