Top Picks: First half of 2013

Top Picks: First half of 2013

So far it has been an amazing year for reading! I have SO MANY books on my TBR list that I have a feeling will end up on my next lists, but for now, I will list my Top Picks for the first half of this year. This list actually surprised me. If I thought about it in my mind without looking up my reviews, this list was a little different. Then after re-reading some reviews, and seeing that I had 4.5 stars on many of my favorites, I decided to go by stars. All of the books on this list are full length, and have 4.75 stars or more.

Hmmm…so many to choose from. It’s a toss up between Tangled by Emma Chase and Epilogue (The Dark Duet book 3) by CJ Roberts and This Man Confessed (This Man series) by Jodi Ellen Malpas. But then again, Hot Ticket (Sinners on Tour) by Olivia Cunning is my favorite book of that series. And Falling Into You by Jasinda Wilder was quite an emotional read for me. Grounded (The Up In the Air series) by RK Lilley finished that series beautifully, as did Eye’s Wide Open (Blackstone Affair) by Raine Miller. Gosh I think I could go on and on……

It’s a little cheesy and formulaic but that didn’t stop me from gobbling it up like addictive candy. I don’t know why we don’t have more romances set in racing and I’m so glad @kbromberg has set her latest series in my favorite sport.
