When I’m With You By Harper Sloan
See Megan and my full 5 star review
āNo more fucking words but my name. Know who is claiming you. Let the whole fucking world hear who is taking you and making you his.ā
When Iām With You by Harper Sloan has the perfect amounts of heart, humor, heat, HEA, & happiness. There is enough outside drama to keep it exciting, and itās filled with Alpha deliciousness. If I could bottle the perfect book for me, it would be When Iām With You. It literally had every single thing I love in a book, and I finished it with wet eyes and hugging my kindle.

Megan’s Minis – Thrown Down by Tessa Bailey
10++++ stars for storyline
10++++ flames for heat
He took one look at her tear-stained face and dove forward, tackling her onto the bed. āI love you, I love you, I love you. Okay? Okay, doll? Iām the worst fuck-up in the world, and I shouldnāt let you love me.ā His voice was hoarse and agonized. āItās the best thing that ever happened to me. And Iām the worst thing that ever happened to you. But I canāt help loving you so much. I canāt help needing you this bad.ā
Overall, this story has risen to one of my favorites. And Vaughn? He has earned a spot in my heart forever. Tessa Bailey creates magic in everything she writes, but this? This is So. Much. More.

Audiobook Review – The Rocker Who Holds Me by Terri Anne Browning
“They saw me when I was 5, took me under their wing, protected me even though they were 10 years older than me. These guys were my family and it was my turn to take care of them.”
Quite honestly, this felt like a first book. I mean there are 12 successful books in the series so far, so I know it gets better. Ā The Rocker Who Holds Me is a great quick introduction to the band and the main players, but it felt a little amateurish. That’s OK though, it was a quick, fun read andĀ I immediately clickedĀ The Rocker WhoĀ Savors Me.

āPlease, donāt fuck the housekeeper. I like her and if you do something that makes her quit, I will break your favorite drum sticks.ā
I can see the author has matured in her writing and gotten better in this book, so I imagine the whole series will keep improving. I enjoyed all of the characters, but still feel like everyone is still a bit too stuck on Emmie, she still seemed to be the heroine of this book instead of Layla. Also, I am dying to read about Lana and Drake, but felt their story took up a little too much of this one and found my focus split. I would like to eventually continue the series, but since the next has the same narrator, I will give it a break to avoid confusion.

Book Review – Dirty by Kylie Scott
āYou wouldnāt believe how hard it was, keeping my eyes on his face. The struggle was real. It might have been due to my not seeing one in so long, but his dick seemed almost hypnotic. The thing had magical powers, I swear. It was so big and mobile, subtly swaying every time he moved. My gaze kept darting down despite my best efforts.ā
Dirty by Kylie Scott was a light, fun, sweet, barely-any-angst read. There was Kylieās signature sweet, funny guy with lots of banter, and a heroine you love and want to be friends with. Though I felt it dragged a little towards the end, there is no question I will be clicking the next because I just love Kylie Scottās sweet, funny banter, and I canāt wait for more.
Audiobook Review – Lawless & Soulless by T.M. Frazier
āThen there was Ti, and my new happiness became the first time I saw her smile. The first time I kissed her. The first time I tasted her pussy by the fire. The first time she let me inside of her, shamelessly pushing through her virginity in a frantic need to make her mine. Because thatās what she was. Thatās what she would always be. And I will kill every motherfucker who dares to try and take her from me. Mine.ā
Though Iām not really a ādark romanceā reader, Iām not sure I consider this series dark, or more brutal and gritty. It is bloody, violent, suspenseful, emotional, intense and totally sexy. But is is filled with such intense love, it jumps off the pages (or out of the speakers in my case). I am totally hooked on these characters and on TM Frazierās writing. Itās amazing how these characters can do the worst things ever, yet Ms. Frazier makes us love them and root for them. This has become one of my favorite series. I canāt recommend it highly enough!

Book Review – Mister O by Lauren Blakely
“Ask me my three favorite things and the answer are so easy they roll off my tongue: hitting a home run for my softball league, drawing a killer cartoon panel, and-oh yeah- making a woman come so hard she sees stars.
Not gonna lie. That last one is my favorite by about a mile. Giving a woman a sheet-grabbing, toe-curling, mind-blowing orgasm is pretty much the Best Thing Ever.”
Mister O had all of my favorite things in a book: heart, humor, heat and HEA. Lauren Blakely is great at male POV; The things that Nick thinks are hysterical. But I would have liked to have seen a surprise chapter or more from Harperās POV. I felt like I never really got to know her quite as much as I wanted to. Still, I totally enjoyed reading Mister O with a smile on my face the whole time. I canāt wait to read Wyattās story in Well Hung.

Audiobook Review – Sidebarred by Emma Chase
“This isn’t what we planned.”
I cup her beautiful face in both hands. “I didn’t plan on you, Chelsea. Or them. And for as long as I live, you will be the best thing that ever happened to me.ā
Sidebarred is steamy, funny, heartwarming, emotional and a perfect end to a favorite series. Emma Chase proves once again why she is the queen of the male point of view.

Book Review – Tapping the Billionaire by Max Monroe
āAnd, Georgia?ā
āYeah?āā¦
āYouāre going to melt on my tongue.ā
Holy Hell
āI think Iām already melting,ā I whimpered, my head falling back on the bed.
āNo, baby, you havenāt even started to melt yet,ā he whispered, moving his tongue against me.
Tapping the Billionaire by Max Monroe was so much fun! I laughed and want to be friends with the characters. I swooned and want my own Kline. But most of all, I read it all with a smile on my face. Despite it having almost every romance book trope there is, Tapping the Billionaire was a unique and refreshing read. Now if I could just find out who Max Monroe is!

Megan’s Minis- Protecting His Own by Cherise Sinclair
āIām sorry.Ā Sorry.ā She dissolved into tears again, wantingāneedingā to apologize.Ā My body is worthless. Iām hopeless, never good for anything, notā
There was a crack of sound and pain scorched her bottom. The shocking sting splintered her thoughts into fragments. Jerking, she met his annoyed dark gaze.
Oh, God, sheād been speaking out loud.
āIf I hear any more of the crap Kyler shoved in your head, Iāll lay you across my knees , and youāll get a spanking session thatāll leave you unable to sit down for a week.ā
Protecting His Own does not disappoint. I adored Beth and Nolan inĀ Breaking FreeĀ and I fell even more in love with them during this book. Overall, another fantastically balanced read from Ms. Sinclair. Ā If you have not indulged in this series yet, do not wait another minute!

2.Ā Perfectly Imperfect by Harper Sloan
**Standalone novel**
Mirror, mirror ⦠whoās the fairest of them all?
I still cringe when I hear that line. A fairy tale that had girls pretending they were the fairest, the most beautiful, and the most entitled. A fairy tale most couldnāt grow out of turned my haunted childhood memories into a living nightmare. Girls who grew up believing that pile of garbage became the meanest of all āmean girls.ā
And those mean girls were right ā it was a line meant for all the beautiful people in the world ā and I knew the answer would never be me.
The women with long legs, flat stomachs, and perfect chests.
The type of women Kane Masters gravitated toward.
Well, thatās definitely not Willow Tate.
No. That will never be me.
Because Iām completely imperfect.
And ⦠I hate myself.
I have no idea what Kane could possibly see in someone like me when he could have them.
3.Ā Breaking Him (Love is War Part 1) by RK Lilley

Scarlett
It was the kind of relationship where I invested more than I had to spare.
I gave it everything.
And so when it failed, I lost myself.
It changed me. He changed me.
I went down with the ship.
My soul, burnt embers in the aftermath.
The fire of him ravaged it all.
He burned me.
Broke me.
Scarlett had always dreamed big. She was headed straight for Hollywood. Destined for silver screen greatness.
But in her wildest dreams she never imagined sheād be broke and single at twenty-seven, doling drinks at thirty-five thousand feet.
She was a glorified waitress in the skies.
It had been years since sheād seen him.
But one day, there he sat, gazing intently at her, ready to set everything ablaze once more.
Dante wanted her. Again.
Sure, sheād play alongā¦but this time, it was his turn.
She was breaking him.
After all, love is war.

4.Ā Tight by Alessandra Torre
From New York Times Bestselling Author Alessandra Torreā¦
This is not a story of servitude. This is a story of strength.
I was happy in my small town. In my life as a single, thirty-two year old woman. I had a good job, wonderful friends, my independence.
I also hadn’t got laid in three years. Hadn’t been on a date in two. Had stopped counting calories and wearing makeup… a while ago.
Then Brett Jacobs waltzed in. Caressed my thigh, dug rough fingers into my hair, lowered his soft mouth to my skin, took sexual control of my mind and stirred it all around with what he packed in his pants. He flipped my quiet life upside down and crawled into a place in my heart I thought was dead.
The issue is his secret.
The issue is her.
The issue is that I don’t even know she exists, and he thinks she’s dead.
The issue is that shit is about to hit the fan and I can’t hold on to him tight enough.
Note to Readers: This standalone book contains themes which could be considered dark.
5.Ā Men of Inked Books 1-3 by Chelle Bliss

6.Ā Mister O by Lauren Blakely
From the NYT Bestselling author of BIG ROCK, comes a hot and hilarious new standalone…
Just call me Mister O. Because YOUR pleasure is my super power.
Making a woman feel ‘oh-god-that’s-good’ is the name of the game, and if a man can’t get the job done, he should get out of the bedroom. I’m talking toe-curling, mind-blowing, sheet-grabbing ecstasy. Like I provide every time.
I suppose that makes me a superhero of pleasure, and my mission is to always deliver.
BUT then I’m thrown for a loop when a certain woman asks me to teach her everything about how to win a man. The only problem? She’s my best friend’s sister, but she’s far too tempting to resist–especially when I learn that sweet, sexy Harper, has a dirty mind too and wants to put it to good use. What could possibly go wrong as I give the woman I’ve secretly wanted some no-strings-attached lessons in seduction?
No one will know, even if we send a few naughty texts. Okay, a few hundred. Or if the zipper on her dress gets stuck. Not on that! Or if she gives me those get-over-here-and-take-me-eyes on the train in front of her whole family.
The trouble is the more nights I spend with her in bed, the more days I want to spend with her out of bed. And for the first time ever, I’m not only thinking about how to make a woman cry out in pleasure — I’m thinking about how to keep her in my arms for a long time to come.
Looks like the real Adventures of Mister O have only just begun….

12.Ā Wasted Words by Staci Hart
Some universal truths refuse to be ignored.
Peanut butter and jelly are a match made in heaven. Spaghetti and meatballs are best friends forever. And guys like Tyler Knight donāt go for girls like Cam Emerson.
She knew from the second she met him that he didnāt belong on her bookshelf, the six-foot-six ex-tight end with a face so all-American, it could have sold apple pie. So she shelved him next to the supermodels and rock stars and took her place on her own shelf ā the one with the flannel-clad, pasty-faced comic book nerds. Most of her boyfriends have existed between the pages of books, but rather than worrying over her own lacking love life, she puts all her energy into playing Cupid, using her job at the book bar, Wasted Words, as her stomping ground.
Tyler Knight always looks on the bright side. His career-ending injury turned into a job as a sports agent. A horrible breakup led him to Cam, his quirky, smart roommate who is far more beautiful than she realizes. Sheās made it perfectly clear sheās not interested in him ā not like that at least ā but if she ever changes her mind, he wonāt hesitate. Because he doesnāt see the lines sheās drawn between them, as much as she insists that theyāre there. Deep down he knows that despite their differences, theyāre a match well made.
*A romantic comedy inspired by Jane Austenās Emma*

Thatās what sacrifice isābeauty and tragedy.
Itās pain and suffering for something or someone you love.
And this is the ultimate sacrifice.
One stunning act of true love.
This is our story.
Our true love story.
A NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR
This book is not a romantic fairy tale. Yet, itās the most romantic story Iāve ever told. Itās a journey of pain and loss, of hope and happiness. Itās both achingly tragic and exquisitely beautiful. Itās a love story. A true love story about real love. The kind that sees you through the night and holds you when you cry. The kind that won’t give up and never lets go. The kind we all dream about and few find. But itās real. I promise you, itās real. Iāve seen this kind of love, and I’ve seen this kind of heartbreak. I got to see it up close and personal, and quite honestly, I will never be the same. I hope it changes you as much as it changed me.

But while Vera expected to get a tan, meet new people and stuff herself with wine and paella, she never expected to fall in love.
Mateo Casalles is unlike anyone Vera has ever known, let alone anyone sheās usually attracted to. While Vera is a pierced and tatted free spirit with a love for music and freedom, Mateo is a successful businessman from Madrid, all sharp suits and cocky Spanish charm. Yet, as the weeks go on, the two grow increasingly close and their relationship changes from purely platonic to somethingā¦more.
Something that makes Vera feel alive for the first time.
Something that can never, ever be.
Or so she thinks.
Love, in Spanish synopsis:

That was until Vera Miles came into his life like a shooting star. Tattooed, wild and young, Vera seemed like Mateoās polar opposite at first. But you canāt choose who you fall in love with and the two lost souls did everything they could to be together, all while suffering the grave consequences.

Unfortunately for them, the brighter the star, the faster they burn.

17.Ā Bastard by JL Perry
***FULL LENGTH STANDALONE READ WITH HEA***
Warning – Contains coarse language and sexual content. This book is recommended for 18 years and over.
My name is Carter Reynolds. I was born a bastard and I’ll die a bastard. I learnt it at a young age, and nothing and nobody can change that. I’m on a one-way path of destruction, and God help anyone who gets in my way. I hate my life. Actually, I hate pretty much everything.
That’s until I meet the kid next door. Indi-freakin’-ana. My dislike for her is instant. From the moment I lay eyes on her, she ignites something within me. She makes me feel things I thought I was incapable of feeling. I don’t like it, not one bit. When she looks at me with her big, beautiful, haunting green eyes, it’s like she can see into the depths of my soul. It freaks me the hell out. She’s like sunshine and rainbows in my world of gloom and doom. I hate sunshine and rainbows.
****
I’m Indiana Montgomery. My friends call me Indi. Despite losing my mum at the age of six, I have a wonderful life and great friends. My dad more than makes up for the fact that I only have one parent. I’m his little girl, the centre of his world. I adore him.
When Carter Reynolds moves in next door, my life takes a turn for the worse. He’s gorgeous, sinfully hot, but that’s where my compliments end. He seems hell-bent on making my life miserable. He acts tough, but when I look into his eyes I don’t see it. I see hurt and pain. To me, he seems lost.
I should hate him for the way he treats me, but surprisingly I don’t. If anything, I feel sorry for him. I want to help him find peace. Help him find the light that I know is buried somewhere within his darkness, but he won’t have a bar of it.
He’s warned me time and time again to stay away, but I can’t. I’m drawn to him for some reason. He’s always referring to himself as a bastard. That may be true, but to me, he’s more like a beautifully misunderstood bastard. Whether he likes it or not, I refuse to give up on him.

Georgia Cummings has zero luck with dating, and the era of the internet is not her friend.
No matter how fast she runs, how many corners she turns, she canāt find her way out of this weird, alternate universe where men think dick pics are a replacement for small talk and getting to know a girl. One more crotch selfie and she might write men off for goodā¦
But why canāt she stop fantasizing about him?
Kline Brooks is the quintessential billionaire bad boyādark, styled, short hair, muscles for days, and a panty-dropping smile.
Exceptāhe isnāt.
As his employee, he wonāt touch her with a ten foot pole.
But she wonāt touch him either.
Too bad their hormones missed the memo.
Disclaimer:
If youāre the type of woman who prefers crotch selfies to small talk, this book isnāt for you.
If you enjoy random men youāve never met filling up your inbox with dirty words and pornāfor reasons focused more towards diddling your donut than laughing at the absurdityāthis book isnāt for you.
If you HATE laughing, this book isnāt for you.
If you want your male leads to grunt, thrust like jack rabbits, and have one-track minds that prefer a nice pair of tits to brains every hour of every day for the rest of forever, well, then, this book still isnāt for you.
But.
If you enjoy a good swoon, a hearty laugh, witty banter, and some hot as f*@% f*@%ing, then consider Georgia Cummings your Girl Friday and Kline Brooks your next irresistible book boyfriend.
19.Ā When I’m with You (Hope Town Book 3) by Harper Sloan
Nate:
Itās nearly impossible to be surrounded by love but not understand it. My parents, my sister, and just about everyone around us has no trouble accepting that love. To give your trust to someone else and believe they would die before hurting you. Iāve witnessed itāIāve seen the power of itābut Iāve also seen the pain. Because for me, Iāve only loved someone I could never have, and my biggest fear is that by giving her my love, all I would do is ruin her. I should have tried harder, but Iām not sure I can because I only feel complete when Iām with her.
Emberlyn:
The only time I feel like I belong is when heās near. His infectious smile warms me straight to my bones. Any insecurities I have vanish with just a wink from him. A sliver of his attention makes me feel invincible. But all it took was one drunken night of truths for me to lose everything I had begun to crave. Now, Iām not sure how to move on because I only feel complete when Iām with him.
He said I was too young. I said he was perfect. He said our families wouldnāt understand. I said we could weather any storm. He said he would ruin me. And he was right.
When I’m with You can be read as a standalone. Each book is interconnected, so if you would like to get to know the previous couples that show up in this book, I recommending reading book 1 (Unexpected Fate) and book 2 (Bleeding Love) first.
20.Ā Dear Heart, I Hate You by J. Sterling
NOW A USA TODAY BESTSELLING CONTEMPORARY ROMANCE NOVEL!
JULES
I didn’t plan on him….
Or for him.
Or anything that had to do with Cal Donovan from Boston.
Meeting him had been a complete and utter surprise, taking me completely off guard. I met new people every single day in my line of work and none of them affected me. Wasn’t that the way of things though? You could meet a thousand people and none of them would mean anything to you, but then you’d meet one and they suddenly meant everything.
I was a self-professed workaholic. When did making yourself your number one priority become such a horrible thing? I wasn’t entirely sure, but I learned fairly quickly after my last breakup that men didn’t like being second on a woman’s priority list. And they seemed to be intimidated by a motivated female, calling me things like “hard to handle,” “challenging, ” and “difficult.”
Being single seemed to work best for me and I had no plans on changing my relationship status anytime soon.
And then I met Cal.
And he f*****g ruined everything.
