March 2017 Recap and Bestsellers with Giveaway

04/07/2017

My book lists have been taking up more and more time, and I listen to audiobooks while I do them. By the time I get off my computer, my eyes hurt too much to read, so I am finding myself listening to more and more audiobooks nowadays. But my reviews break out the story from the narration, so unless I can’t separate the two (which happens occasionally), my audiobook reviews are basically a book review with an additional commentary on the narration. If you have never listened to an audiobook, be careful, you might get hooked.

Check out if any of the Kindle books in your library have a cheap audio upgrade here.

I reviewed 12 books/audiobooks in March. Here are my mini reviews below, click the graphics or titles for the full reviews, including favorite quotes, graphics and my list of Likes and Dislikes.

Audiobook Re-read Review – Fisher’s Light by Tara Sivec
Narrated by Andi Arndt and Zachary Webber
FLAMES_4

“I should have realized that she was my light. She was everything bright and beautiful about my life and it went to shit after she left.”

Fisher’s Light by Tara Sivec (the book) was on my Top Picks for 2015 list. I think this is absolutely Tara’s best work to date. It feels very personal, like Watch Over Me without the intense crying that one caused. This is another perfect book that showcases the talent Tara has at writing any genre she sets her mind to, and knocking it out of the park. Fisher’s Light was so realistic about life with a person with PTSD, that it felt like a journey she must have taken at some point. I love a second chance romance, but Fisher’s Light had so much more, and was the perfect balance of emotion, symbolism, heart, and realism that will keep anyone up all night turning the pages. **Or listening intently** The audiobook was just as good as the book.

Book Review – The Deep End by Kristen AshleySTARS_4

“You’re being very bossy, Olivier.”
“Good, that means you might paddle my balls later. Now, get your ass over here so I can kiss you and finish eating.”

I’m kind of all over the place with this review, because there was so much I loved, but there were a few things that were hard to get past. And they weren’t the things I expected at all! I think the thing that really hurt the story for me was third person. I never fully immersed into the story and never fully warmed up to the kind of snooty and formal Amélie until I did a quick reread for this review. The beginning was slow building and it took a while to get in the groove of the third person, but once I did, I really fell in love, so give it a little time to warm up. This is erotic romance folks, erotic being the operative word. The sex comes first and foremost, and it’s a very different kind of kink than I have read about before. You know how some Doms like to treat their subs like pets? Well, same here, but he’s her noble steed. Though the male sub part didn’t really bother me (it was actually a lot hotter than I expected) I didn’t love the horse references, but I felt like I shouldn’t like it more than anything.

I completely LOVED Olly and I loved the idea of a big alpha sub. He has all the possessive, protective, grunty alpha tendencies of all of Kristen Ashley’s heroes, and there was even something alpha about him when he was strapped down and harnessed, like you were harnessing a beast that will lose control as soon as he is released. So hot. I loved watching this big manly man struggle with his nature and put such a deep trust in his woman.

I never doubted Kristen Ashley could pull off an alpha sub, and she did it beautifully. If you read The Will, I find that Amélie reminds me a bit of Josephine with her formal standoffish ways, but due to the 3rd person narration I never fully warmed up to Amélie the way I did Josephine. I still loved the story, and can’t wait for the Farthest Edge in June. I think I will listen to this one before the next comes out because I think this is one story that will get better with each read as you notice more and feel like you know Amélie better. The Deep End is at heart a beautiful love story with a lesson to be true to yourself, and I love that Kristen Ashley was true to herself and took a chance with something different.

Book Review – Below Deck by Tara SivecSTARS_4.5

“All I can think about is that Goddamn kiss. Every time I close my eyes I can taste you, and smell you, and feel you against me, and it’s driving me fucking insane.”

It’s no secret I’m a Tara Sivec lover. She is the reason I started Wicked Book Weekend 5 years ago. But I have definitely liked some books more than others. Tara nails every genre she writes though, and this erotic romance is the perfect juicy escape from life. Is it an epic read? No. Was it emotional? A little, but nothing noteworthy. But it was a combination of all the things I love in a book. It was fun, sexy and easy. It had characters I totally want to hang with, and characters I totally wanted to hang (evil stepmonster). It had banter, great supporting characters, sex scenes that almost melted my kindle and just enough angst to keep it interesting. Below Deck was the perfect afternoon escape. I loved it!

Book Review – Wardrobe Malfunction by Samantha TowleSTARS_4.5FLAMES_4

“This woman, whom I’ve known for less than a day, who stabbed me in the ball sack, has made me a cock warmer.”

Wardrobe Malfunction by Samantha Towle was so good! I read the entire book with a goofy smile on my face because it was filled with all of my favorite things in a book. I laughed, smiled, swooned, got angry, and wanted to be friends with the characters. It had humor, banter and chemistry, and I think I read it in one sitting. I love when a Hollywood star falls for the regular girl, and Wardrobe Malfunction had a cute twist to the trope. If you are looking for a light, sexy and fun Hollywood romance, I highly suggest you check this one out! Samantha Towle never disappoints.

Audiobook Review – Three Simple Rules by Nikki Sloane
Narrated by Muffy NewtonSTARS_4.5

“You are not going to break any more rules tonight. Certainly not that rule.” He pushed my hands away and pulled me to my feet. “I told you, this is mine.”

Make sure you have your man or BOB (battery operated boyfriend) around when you read the super hot Three Simple Rules. While it was one of the hottest books I read in the past year, there was still a really good story. I loved the characters, though I am a little iffy on the heroine of the next book. There was a lot of sex between the couple, and 2 scenes with two women and the hero. I loved the first scene, but the second was a bit out of my comfort zone. At first I was a little disappointed that Three Simple Rules had just one female narrator, but let me tell you, she was phenomenal, and her male voice was almost as sexy as some of the male narrators out there. If you like your books SUPER STEAMY, don’t skip the blindfold series by Nikki Sloane. I can’t wait for the next to come out in audio. I hope it does!

Audiobook Review – Royally Matched by Emma Chase
Narrated by Andi Arndt & Shane EastSTARS_4.5FLAMES_4

“What a strange pair we are. The sad boy and the frightened girl.”

One again, Emma Chase brings a fresh, different, funny and sexy story. I love the fantasy of reading about a royal family, and I am having a great time with this series. Prince Henry is charming and witty, and I loved the things that came out of his mouth. I think this series is unique and memorable, the characters are all likable, and it’s sweet, sexy and fun with some real emotion. I can’t think of anything else I look for in a book. Emma Chase will continue to stay at the top of my auto buy list!

Audiobook Review – Pucked Off by Helena Hunting
Narrated by Rose Dioro and Jacob Morgan

FLAMES_4

“I could kiss her forever. I could live in this memory—past fused with the present. This kiss would be my heaven.”

Pucked Off is in many ways the best in the Pucked series. Though the original, Pucked, will always be my favorite (how can you not love Super MC?), Pucked Off is so different you can’t even compare it. I would not call it a romantic comedy, the way the rest of the series is. It is a serious, emotional, angsty book, with lots of the fun humor Helena is known for to break up the emotion. I think Pucked Off can absolutely stand alone, and in some ways it may be better to read this first, especially if you like an angstier, more emotional story.

Book Review – Catching Carly by Emma HartSTARS_4FLAMES_4

“I accidentally had sex with him.”
“Accidentally? What did you do, trip over a rug and just happen to sit your vagina on his cock?”

Emma Hart has quite the knack for writing fun, quirky, crazy women that I totally relate to and want to hang out with. I want to be BFFs with Carly and Brooke. There were so many funny lines in Catching Carly, I probably highlighted half the book. I do, however, wish there was more of the couple together and in love, maybe a few sappy scenes. She just spent too much time pushing him away, and Zeke was a pretty decent guy. All in all though, I still loved the book, and I can’t wait for my next Emma Hart romcom.

Audiobook Review – Take Me Back by Meghan March
Narrated by Andi Arndt and Zachary WebberFLAMES_4.25

“Two damaged people. Countless secrets. The fight of our lives. We might be broken, but we’re not done.”

Hands-down one of the best and most unique books I’ve read this year, Take Me Back by Meghan March had everything I wanted and SO MUCH MORE. I have kept this review to a bare minimum because you need to go in without knowing. DON’T READ SPOILERS! Seriously, you will read Take Me Back in one sitting. It’s addictive, enthralling, sexy, emotional, and exciting-I don’t even want my adjectives to tell too much, so just READ IT.

Book Review – The Sex Bucket List by Prescott Lane

“I am worth fighting for. There just might be someone who thinks I’m good enough the way I am, who doesn’t say I’m selfish, dramatic, overly sensitive, nagging, bitchy, or crazy.
Your day’s made by a total stranger. If only your husband ever looked at you like that, the way he used to look at you.”

If you love the books where an older mom moves on after a divorce, you may love The Sex Bucket List by Prescott Lane. There isn’t a woman in the world who could resist a patient, perfect alpha like Mateo. But I’m not sure this was a romance as much as a woman finding herself and putting herself before her kids. This is not the sexy comedy I thought it would be, it was emotional and thought provoking, and with a love triangle throughout the book (no cheating), I never really knew who to root for. Some of it forced me to see some negative in my marriage I was perfectly happy not seeing, and though I loved Emerson, I’m not sure I agreed with all of her choices. I felt like I never really got to know the other characters and the relationship felt a little superficial to me. I liked that Prescott Lane didn’t feel the need to vilify the ex, but honestly, I think I would have enjoyed the book much more if she did. I loved reading about a woman in her forties who still wanted and enjoyed sex, and I like the fact that she showed that a woman like this has baggage, but maybe it was all just a little too real to me. I think a lot of women would love this, but I like a clear-cut hero. I liked the book, but I never fell in love the way I wanted to.

The Sex Bucket List is one of those books that people will LOVE for many the same reasons that I didn’t love it for. So if you like a book about a mom moving on after a divorce, you may want to give it a try. A friend of mine absolutely loved it.

Book Review – Co-WRECKER by Meghan QuinnFLAMES_4

“We should commemorate this moment by fucking each other next to the Oreos. I mean, they’re used to having cream all over them.”

I’m actually a day late posting my review, because to tell you the truth, I had to keep putting Co-WRECKER down, I didn’t want it to end. I wanted to savor every word, not read it while I am peeing or falling asleep. It’s rare when I am reading a book and all I want to do is keep posting on social media saying “YOU NEED TO BUY THIS BOOK” but that’s how I felt reading Co-WRECKER by Meghan Quinn. I want to scream about it from the rooftops. I absolutely loved every single word of Co-Wrecker. I smiled the whole time, I laughed out loud, I swooned, I fanned myself, and I even cried. There was depth and substance disguised in the funny lines. Co-WRECKER is my idea of a perfect feel-good read, and it perfectly defines all the reasons I love to read. Meghan Quinn has cemented herself in my small handful of favorite authors with Co-Wrecker, and I am so freaking excited to have her at Wicked Book Weekend 18!

Audiobook Review – Beautiful Bastard by Christina Lauren
Narrated by Grace Grant

“Nine months. Nine fucking months of morning wood, jacking off, and endless fantasies about someone I didn’t even want. Well, that wasn’t complete true. I wanted her. I wanted her more than any woman I’d ever seen. The big problem was I also hated her.”

Beautiful Bastard is the perfect title for this book. Bennett Ryan was a total asshole who didn’t redeem himself fully till the very end. I liked Chloe a lot. She was smart and sassy, but I never really connected to either of them, apart or as a couple. It was a fun and sexy read, but it never really wowed me the way I expected. Still, I look forward to reading later books from the author duo, since I’m sure they have honed their skills immensely since this was written.

The Sexy One by Lauren Blakely (audio) – was a little leary on the ‘single dad falls for the nanny’ at first but this did not disappoint!  Lots of laugh out loud moments and just the right amount to make my heart swoon! Another great rom com from an author who is clearly becoming an all-time favorite

Sweet Rivalry by K Bromberg (read) – I absolutely loved Sweet Cheeks so when I found out Ryder was getting his own book, I pre-ordered and read it shortly after it’s release date.  It was a cute rom com and a nice addition to Sweet Cheeks, but personally I think I would have preferred a full length installment vs a novella.  But that’s just me being greedy!

Undeniable by Madeline Sheehan (audio) – WOW!!! Sometimes love isn’t all hearts & flowers, sometimes it’s gritty & intense & seriously effed up! This was probably one of the more darker MC books I’ve read in a long time.

1. The Bet by DK Combs

Make her orgasm, right there in the theater. This was the bet that started the end, the bet that changed his life.

Catfished and stuck with a sleezeball for a date, Bristol is miserable and angry. Screw Tinder and swiping right, she just wanted a quick one night stand. With a fake as her date, she doesn’t expect the night to end on a good note…until she sees him. When her eyes land on the dark, sinfully handsome man at the concession stand of the movie theater, she’s unprepared when he sits right next to her.

Every bet has a price; it’s just a matter of how far you’re willing to go.

Noah never would have guessed that the haughty, condescending woman he saw at the concession line would turn out to be a fireball of lust and desperation. Getting her to climax in the middle of a movie? No problem. Getting her out of his head afterward? Definitely a problem.

2 (tie) Co-WRECKER by Meghan Quinn

What do ice cream and Sadie Montgomery have in common? They’re both ice cold, but one taste is never enough.

I wanted to be friends — I would have even settled for her seeing me as anything but a nerd — but there was no getting through. So just like any hard-headed, red-blooded man out there, I made up my mind.

I’d make my coworker fall for me.

I’d like to say it was simple, but like every other epic love story, all it took was one drunken night and a lot of naked courage to get the girl. For a moment, at least.

Love with a coworker is never simple, especially since Sadie’s trying to keep us on the low. Not to mention her persistent ex-boyfriend who won’t leave her alone. But I’ve never been good at giving up, and I don’t plan to start now.

The whole thing is a recipe for a rocky road, but I plan to eat the whole gallon, no matter how bad the brain freeze.

3. Dirty Doctor by Whitney G.

“Lean back on the table and spread your legs for me …”

Being a doctor in New York City has never been easy. Especially for someone like me, who has a private practice and an incompetent staff who insists on leaving me to fill in for them.

Over the past six months, I’ve performed one too many pap smears, three too many “breast exams,” and scrubbed in on several reconstructive surgeries. (This would be acceptable, if I was still interested in general medicine, but I’m not. I’m supposed to be a goddamn therapist …)

When my team finally came to their senses and decided to bring someone more competent into the practice last month, I was actually elated.

Until I realized that our new “doctor” was none other than the woman I was supposed to meet for dinner two weeks ago. The same woman who stood me up with nothing more than an “I can’t meet you anymore, sorry,” after we agreed to move our online talks into reality.

I haven’t forgotten any of the filthy fantasies she told me about, and I never deleted our dirty messages. And if she thinks that I’m going to act like a “professional” and pretend like that shit never happened, she has another thing coming …

WARNING: Single HOT biker dad alert! This stand alone, no cliff hanger, erotic romance has an HEA, and will set your Kindle ablaze. Have a free hand, as this is a certified one-handed read.

SANDY – Grayson “Smokey” Wallace was a biker who was handsome, intelligent, ridiculously sexy, and a single dad.

His swagger alone melted me into a puddle the night we met. There was only one problem, he didn’t do relationships.

Knowing that tidbit of information beforehand was nice. It allowed me to get what I wanted from him and go on my merry way.

My plan, however didn’t work.

Not. At. All.

SMOKEY – The night I met Sandy I was after one thing and one thing only.
Sex.

There’s only one member of the opposite sex who I’ve ever cared about – my daughter. And, I knew that would never change.

Or so I thought.

Walking away isn’t always as easy as one might think.

RIGID is a stand-alone erotic romance with NO CHEATING, no sex outside the relationship, no cliffhanger, and it has the happiest of HEAs. The hero is Hot single father and the heroine is not a doormat. Yes, you will enjoy this book. No, you will not get any sleep. Yes, you must have a free hand to read this novel. No, you do not need to read any other books to understand this one fully.

6. Devil You Know (Lost Boys Book 1) by LA Fiore

Damian Tate. One look into his sad green eyes and I was hooked. I wanted to be the one to make him laugh, to make him smile. I wanted forever with him, but life got in the way.

He enlisted, I went to college, and for years we were never in the same place long enough to pick up where we left off.

Thirteen years after he left, tragedy brings him home. The stoic boy I fell in love with grew into a quiet, dangerous and wildly sexy man. He still tugs on all the right strings for me, but he seems determined to keep me at arm’s-length.

However, when trouble comes knocking at my door, he is the one to put himself between that trouble and me.

Spending time with him might drive me insane, or it might be our second chance at first love.

Due to strong language and sexual content, this book is not intended for readers under the age of 18.

7. Rockstar Daddy by Taryn Quinn

Never trust a cold condom.

Wait, let me back up. I’m Kellan McGuire, and I’m a rockstar in hiding, at least for the weekend. Enter Maggie Kelly, the famed Kelly virgin – AKA my small hometown’s favorite good girl.

Did I mention she’s really good? And I’m so…not.

Except Maggie isn’t a virgin any longer. She actually just went through a rough breakup due to her ex’s penchant for strippers.

And I don’t want to be a rockstar this weekend. Not with her.

I just want to be Kellan, the wolf to her Little Red Riding Hood. The guy who shows her all the dark, dirty things she never dared to dream.

In return, she gave me something I never dared to dream about either – a baby.

A family.

Our family, if I can convince her I’m worth the risk.

Author’s note: this book may be called Rockstar Daddy, but the emphasis is on lots of babymaking practice, laughter, a few tears, and a serious case of insta-love.

9. We Said Forever by Marie James

Rock bottom.

They say the only way to go from there is up, but what is “up” when you’re born into someone else’s rock bottom?

At ten, football became my first love. It’s what got me out of the house away from my self-destructive family. My love for football landed me at Las Vegas University with a full ride scholarship, and the orange on my jersey was my favorite color…until my eyes landed on the red dress Fallyn wore the night we met.

At twenty-one, I jumped off the cliff into the unknown the second Fallyn McIntyre danced in my arms at a party. I had the greatest girl in the world and the opportunity to play college ball every Saturday. My rock bottom was looking up, thanks to my two first loves.

Parties, sex, and football—life was perfect. But one drink too many, and my world came crashing down. When I chose pills over my second love, my head told me it was the best decision I ever made. The pills keep me warm and protect me from the distance Fallyn created. Percs don’t judge me. They make me feel alive.

Threes.

They say the best things come in threes, but one leads to a stable future, one is my salvation, and the other drags me to hell—a hell I’d willingly burn in for eternity…if it weren’t for my second love.

Getting her attention was the easy part. Keeping it might be damn near impossible.

10. Catching Carly by Emma Hart

From New York Times bestselling author, Emma Hart, comes another hilariously wild romantic comedy about being the third wheel in your friendship and, um, accidentally having sex with your best friend’s brother…

My name is Carly Porter… And I’m really good at bad decisions.

How do I know this, exactly? Well, not including the time I accidentally bleached my eyebrows or sprained my ankle changing a lightbulb…
I had sex with my best friend’s brother.
Zeke Elliott has been a thorn in my side for eleven years. A very sexy, very tempting, very freaking annoying one. With big…hands.
And now my clitoris has a crush on the guy.
Seriously. I can’t look at him without my vagina performing accidental kegels. Which would be fine, but he’s Cain’s brother. I hate him. He’s off limits, right?
Right.

11 (tie) Mr. President (White House Book 1) by Katy Evans

From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Katy Evans comes a sizzling new contemporary romance.

He’s won the hearts of millions. But is he willing to lose his?

I met the president’s son when we were both young. Matthew Hamilton was handsome, polished, and intelligent. I’d never met a guy like him.

He promised me that he’d never run for president. I promised that if he did, I’d be by his side.

Three terms later, an invitation to join Matthew Hamilton’s campaign is the most exhilarating opportunity I’ve ever experienced. I’m determined to make a difference; he is determined to win.

Focused on his goal, Matt is steadfast, ruthless, and disarming. All eyes are on him and his popularity is surging. But soon, the next possible president of the United States is possessing me in more ways than one—and despite the risks, I’m helpless to resist.

We’re stealing touches, stealing moments, and stealing away at night. But our chemical connection is quickly becoming dangerously combustive, putting not only my heart, but Matt’s chance at the presidency on the line.

Winning will take everything. Walking away will be the hardest thing of all.

13. Single Dad Next Door: A Fake Marriage Romance by Penelope Bloom

My grandfather left me his business with one insane condition:
I need a wife and two kids. Too bad I’m a divorced single dad.
Cue my ex-wife’s best friend moving in next door.
And then mix in a few bad decisions.
What do you get? A complicated, sexy mess.

SANDRA

The list of reasons I should stay away from my neighbor is about as long as his… wrench. He’s a dirty mechanic, he’s a single dad, and he can’t seem to keep his shirt on for more than five minutes.

Did I mention his ex wife is my best friend? Yeah. Reid Riggins is absolutely, one hundred percent, the last person in the world I should get involved with. Even if he is heart-stoppingly gorgeous with strong, powerful hands that could rip my clothes off with ease.

Not that I’ve imagined that, of course.

The point is I don’t want anything to do with him. He can stay in his stupid garage with his stupidly cute son and hit things with wrenches all day. He can keep on wearing those blue jeans that fit him just right for all I care.

Except I may have told a white lie to my eccentric, rich parents. I may have told them I’m engaged to a wealthy businessman, and now they want to meet my fake fiance. Unfortunately, Reid might be the only guy who’s willing to play along.

No problem. It’s just for a few days. Just to get them off my back. What could go wrong?

**This is a full-length, standalone fake marriage romance. No cheating or cliffhangers, and as always, Happily Ever After guaranteed. Bonus content included!

14. Her Bodyguard by Sabrina Paige

She’s forbidden fruit, but this filthy-mouthed bodyguard will make this defiant woman his. Even if he has to turn her over his knee to do it.

Max

I protect royals – I don’t screw them.

I definitely don’t screw sassy little brats like Princess Alexandra – not even if she’s the hottest mess I’ve ever seen, a whirlwind of public scandal and bad behavior.
She’s smart-mouthed, argumentative, and doesn’t do a thing I say. And the idea of throwing her over my shoulder like a caveman makes my blood run hot.
She’s the ultimate in forbidden – bodyguards don’t touch princesses. I could lose everything.

But this is one princess I’ll bring to her knees.

Alexandra

My bodyguard is a royal pain in the a**.
He’s arrogant, gruff, and the most infuriating man I’ve ever met.

I don’t let anyone tell me what to do. But the way Max orders me around makes my knees go weak, and the dirty promises he breathes in my ear make me wet.

Princesses don’t hook up with their bodyguards – it’s the ultimate transgression.
And they definitely don’t fall in love.

**This is a full-length (103k words) novel that can be read as a standalone or in conjunction with Prince Albert (85k words), which is included in your copy of this book for a limited time. Enjoy!**

15. Take Me Back by Meghan March

From USA Today bestselling author Meghan March comes a hot new standalone second chance romance.

We fell in love on a beach, got married in paradise, and rode off into the sunset. It should have been perfect, but saying “I do” doesn’t guarantee a happily-ever-after.
Two years later, I barely recognize either of us behind the walls we’ve built.
It’s time to bring it full circle. Back to a tropical paradise. Back to find out if we can still make this work.
I’m not willing to give her up, but to save us, I have to risk everything.
Two damaged people.
Countless secrets.
The fight of our lives.
We might be broken, but we’re not done.

Take Me Back is a standalone second chance romance, not related to any series.

Author’s Note: Please be aware that the the reviews below MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS. This book is best enjoyed by going in blind, and that is the experience I hope every single reader gets to have. Please read reviews at your own risk.

Henry sounds like a fun ad troubled guy! Just a note…I always have an audio to listen to when I can’t read, like when I’m driving!! A must listen to is ‘FROM SAND and ASH’ by Amy Harmon. I thought it was amazing!! The story and the narration.

I love the unique storyline of this debut solo nov I love the unique storyline of this debut solo novel from Joe Arden, and I especially love when the narrator narrates their own book and I love male POV books written by an actual male! I had a few issues (which you’ll see in the review), but overall I really enjoyed this one, and it is staying in my memory because it was different.

Do you love cooking reality shows? If so, you shou Do you love cooking reality shows? If so, you should check out Sadie on a Plate by Amanda Elliot. I loved being behind-the-scenes at a cooking reality show! There is a romance, but it’s way more about the exciting cooking show. The heroine is Jewish and there is a very diverse cast.

I started Throttled by Lauren Asher last year and I started Throttled by Lauren Asher last year and it was taking me forever to read, then the audiobook released and I switched over at about 60%. That’s when the book really picked up for me. The new season of Drive to Survive starts on #netflix next week and #formula1 starts the week after. I’m so excited for the new season! I am hoping that more of this series releases on audio soon because I love being in the #F1 world.

Another book I really wanted to love, but it was j Another book I really wanted to love, but it was just OK for me. I did love the heroine’s business of awesome salads in a cup! A Guide to Being Just Friends by Sophie Sullivan was not labeled as book 3 in a series, and it was. Though it was able to stand alone, I think I missed a connection because I didn’t read the first two.
