Chrismukkah 2014 Night 4 Favorite Things with Olivia Cunning

12/19/2014

Olivia Cunning HolidayOlivia Cunning is the queen of all Rock Star romance writers. She started it all. and still remains the best! Seriously, Backstage Pass was one of my first erotic reads, and one of the books that inspired me to start Ana’s Attic, and Brian Sinclair is still my #1 book boyfriend. Mr. Ana was thrilled he had a wife who finally wanted it as much as he does #ifyouknowwhatImean.

While Sinners On Tour is my favorite Rock Star Series, and bar far the hottest, and most varied sex without sacrificing story, Olivia has her novella series, One Night With Sole Regret which I love as well!

I highly recommend buying the bundle because you’ll want to read the whole series! Make sure you have BOB on hand (Check out my Red Room of Pain!)

With each book at over $4.00, the best deal buy far is to buy the BOX SET of all 5 Sinners on Tour books.

The Sinners on Tour Boxed Set

USA Today and New York Times bestselling author of erotic romance Olivia Cunning has delighted readers with her wildly popular Sinners on Tour rock band series, the perfect blend of steamy sex, heartwarming romance, and wicked humor. Now, get all five scorching reads for one low price: Backstage Pass, Rock Hard, Hot Ticket, Wicked Beat, and Double Time.

INCLUDES:

1. Backstage Pass (The Sinners on Tour) See my review Here

It’s been months since lead guitarist Brian Sinclair composed anything. But when sexy psychology professor Myrna Evans comes on tour to study groupie mentality, Brian finds the spark he needs to reignite his musical genius. When lust turns to love, can Brian convince Myrna that what they have is more than just a fling?

2. Rock Hard (The Sinners on Tour) See my review Here

The stage is the only place lead singer Sed Lionheart feels any passion since he lost Jessica, who broke off their engagement to go to law school. But trapped together on the tour bus for the summer, Sed and Jessica will rediscover their penchant for public encounters and the millions of steamy reasons they never should have called it quits…

3. Hot Ticket (The Sinners on Tour) See My Review Here

Struggling with his past, bassist Jace Seymour seeks dominatrix Aggie to help placate his inner turmoil. Aggie doesn’t have much use for men, but Jace quickly steals her heart. When Jace’s position in Sinners is compromised, Aggie must help him regain his rightful place while showing him that time and love can heal all wounds.

4. Wicked Beat (The Sinners on Tour) See my review here.

When Rebekah Blake becomes the Sinners’ new soundboard operator, she can’t wait to seduce guitarist Trey. Instead she catches the eye of red-hot drummer Eric Sticks, who sets out to prove that he is the only man who can give her everything her dirty mind desires…

5. Double Time (The Sinners on Tour) See my review Here

On the rebound from the tumult of his bisexual lifestyle, rhythm guitarist Trey Mills falls for sizzling new guitar sensation Reagan Elliot. Ecstatic to be on tour learning the ropes with Trey’s band, Reagan finds she craves Trey just as much as the spotlight. When Reagan’s ex, Ethan, returns, Trey’s secret desires flare, and Reagan agrees to a hot new world of sexual experience with the two men she loves the most.

These are not in the box set:

Sinners at the Altar (The Sinners on Tour Book 6)

Sinners need love too…

Sinners at the Altar includes four complete wedding stories, each about a different member of the rock band Sinners. These novellas are intended to be read after the Sinners on Tour series as each story is an epilogue to a different book in the series and thus riddled with major spoilers for not only individual books, but in some cases, the entire series.

When Sinners tie the knot, things don’t always go as planned.

Appetite for Seduction – Epilogue to Backstage Pass
Lead guitarist Brian Sinclair may have finally won Professor Myrna Evans heart and her consent to wed, but being part of a high-maintenance band might just ruin his long-anticipated wedding day and steamy wedding night. Will the couple ever find a moment’s peace or are some things more important than a night of uninhibited love-making?

Sweet Love of Mine – Epilogue to Wicked Beat
Drummer Eric Sticks is determined to marry sweet and sassy soundboard operator, Rebekah Blake, on the spur of the moment. But can he really offer the love of his life the wedding of her dreams in a small, unplanned ceremony? And can Rebekah offer Eric the one thing missing from his life that never realized he wanted?

Patience – Epilogue to Rock Hard
Lead singer Sed Lionheart never really wanted a big fancy wedding. He just wanted the girl. But his hot-tempered fiancee, Jessica Chase, has her heart set on a memorable ceremony and she is determined to persist through the aggravation to have the wedding of her dreams. The ceremony turns out to be memorable, all right, but not necessarily in the way they’d planned. Can the stressed-out couple recognize what’s really important on their wedding day, or is the honeymoon over before it even begins?

November Rain – Epilogue to Hot Ticket
Professional dominatrix Aggie “Mistress V” Martin is madly in love with bassist Jace Seymour, but she’s not in any real hurry to marry him. She’s not really the wife “type”. That all changes the moment she lays eyes on the perfect place to say “I do”. With more than one obstacle in their path to wedded bliss, will these two ever make it down the aisle or will everything fall apart at the whim of others?   See my review

Take Me to Paradise (Sinners on Tour Book 7)

If timelines matter to you, this never-before-released novella fits into the Sinners on Tour series right after Hot Ticket and slightly overlapping the beginning of Wicked Beat.

They’ve already had their happily ever after…
Sinners’ lead guitarist Brian Sinclair is desperately in love with his new wife, Myrna. The only thing that could make their lives together more perfect is if they started a family. Try as they might–and they do try, and try, and try–it doesn’t seem as if Myrna will ever conceive. The newlyweds decide to take an overdue honeymoon to Aruba while Brian waits for his band to go back on tour. Perhaps with a little stress-reducing relaxation and absolutely no rest–they do have a baby to make–Brian can give Myrna what she most desires.

But is someone trying to take their happily ever after away…
Not all is right in paradise. One of Brian’s overzealous fans keeps interrupting the happy couple’s alone time. And it seems there’s more behind this fan’s actions than just exuberance for one of his favorite musicians. Is his annoying behavior harmless or does something sinister lurk in the penthouse next door?

One Starry Night (Sinners on Tour Extras Book 1)

This novelette was previously released as part of the Some Like it Hot Anthology (no longer in print).

Michelle isn’t sure why she decided to come to her high school reunion, but she’s glad she did. There she reunites with the nice boy she should have dated in high school–millionaire Devlin McAllister–and the bad boy she wished she hadn’t–Sinners’ roadie Jake Tremaine. The problem lies in the fact that she’s now attracted to both of men; she wants both of them, but how can she possibly choose between two gorgeous men both vying for her attention? Why should she have to?

This stand alone menage story contains sexually explicit scenes with M/F and M/M pairings as well as M/F/M and M/M/F triages.

The One Night With Sole Regret Series

Share Me (One Night with Sole Regret series Book 0)

Please note: This erotic novelette was originally released in an anthology entitled A Very Naughty Xmas. If you have already purchased the anthology, there is no new content in this stand-alone novelette.

A prequel to One Night with Sole Regret
After a benefit concert, Lindsey longs to spend an amazing Christmas Eve with her favorite band, Sole Regret, to thank them for their generosity. Even though she followed their tour bus up a slick mountain pass during a blizzard, she never expected to spend an entire snowy night with two generous rock stars who love to share their gifts. Trapped on a tour bus with her best friend, a rock band, and the bus driver, what can these naughty ladies possibly do to keep warm? Perhaps a better question is what won’t they do?

Contains a whole lot of kinky antics. Sensitive readers, beware. See my review here.

MORE THAN One Night with Sole Regret:

Tell Me (One Night with Sole Regret series Book 6)

Book Six in the One Night with Sole Regret series.

This novel is over 65,000 words long and includes an extra night, because one night with Force just isn’t enough.

He had planned a perfect weekend for her…
Gabriel “Force” Banner has been unable to get a certain sexy accountant out of his head. Sole Regret’s inventive drummer has created big plans to keep sweet Melanie entertained all weekend long. Unfortunately, Melanie arrives for their rendezvous with a bit of baggage that just might ruin their fun.

She didn’t mean to make things difficult…
Melanie wouldn’t blame Gabe if he left her at the airport with her bit of baggage, but he’s determined to make their limited time together work. When they leave behind the bustle of New Orleans and the rock ‘n’ roll scene to visit his serene oasis outside of Austin, Texas, their romantic weekend seems to be back on track. But life has a way of butting in at the worst possible times.

Can they learn how to support each other in the face of adversity or will reality destroy their budding relationship before it even takes flight?

–> See my review here.

Tease Me (One Night with Sole Regret series Book 7)

She showed him how to love…
The lead guitarist of Sole Regret had always walked the world alone, until he opened his heart and his world to his sweet, reserved rehab counselor. Adam Taylor normally shirks responsibility and lives in the moment, but the foreign, tender emotions that Madison draws to the surface has him considering his future for the first time in his life. But how can a woman as good as Madison be happy with a train wreck like him?

He showed her how to live…
Since Madison Fairbanks started dating Adam, her entire life has been turned upside down and while his impulsive, reckless side causes her passion to burn bright, it also tends to put her in extraordinary situations—including a night in a very risqué sex club that’s guaranteed to satisfy her most forbidden fantasies. He encourages her to try new things, step out of her usual boundaries, and experience a lifestyle she never considered. But how can a man as wild as Adam ever be tamed enough for a serious relationship?

In book 7 of the best-selling One Night with Sole Regret series, Adam and Madison seem to have everything working against them. Is their love strong enough to withstand every challenge thrown their way, or is it time to call it quits?

From what I understand, there are 15 total books planned for Sole Regret and Another planned for Sinners, plus two new spin-off series. I can’t wait for the Exodus End Series!!!

QA Oliviacunning

Who is your favorite character you have written?
My favorite character changes depending on the book I’m writing. I’m currently writing Insider starring Exodus End’s bassist (Logan Schmidt). He’s wildly impulsive, sexy, and hilarious and currently my favorite male character. I’m sure that will change when I start writing the next book. If I’m not in love with the character when I’m writing him, the reader is not going to fall in love with him.
Your favorite book (written by others):
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by JK Rowling. Yes, I write dirty smut, but I read a lot of Fantasy YA because I need to “cleanse my palate” with something completely different from what I write.
A sex word you hate to read and would never write:
Queef. Does anyone use that word? I never say never, but I promise to never use that word. In a sex scene. The rest of them are fair game.
Your favorite TV show.
Big Bang Theory. Because it has the word “bang” in the title. Not really. I love Sheldon. Quirky characters are fun!
The weirdest fun fact about you:
I was in a PhD program to earn my doctorate in Pathobiology and Molecular Medicine because I wanted to cure Atherosclerosis–which killed my beloved grandfather. After three years, I did end up with a Master’s degree that I’m still paying for (so many student loans!) and I no longer use. Maybe someday I’ll write scientific thrillers about diseases, but I’m having too much fun with my rock stars at the moment.

Show a photo of your decorations, or your favorite decoration:
I haven’t decorated my house for Christmas in years. That’s because we always traveled to spend Christmas Week at my parents’ house, so it didn’t make sense to put up decorations when we (my son and I) wouldn’t be home. But this year is different. I moved close to my family, so I’ll be staying in my own home this Christmas and that means I decorated! I did my foyer in red, white and green. And my living room in blue, silver and ivory. I didn’t do much decorating outside. I plan to remedy that next year. I’m waiting for decorations to go on clearance after the holidays.

How do you spend your holidays?
In the past, my family has all congregated at my parents’ house on Christmas Eve for lasagna and gift exchanges and then at my Aunt’s Christmas morning for Egg’s Benedict and Homemade Egg Nog and more gift exchanges. This year, I just moved back to the area and bought a house that easily accommodates the size of the family, so we’re doing Christmas Eve at my house for the first time. And I’m making an enormous pan of lasagna for the first time. *cue dramatic music* I’m super excited that I don’t have to drive this year! I’ve driven 450 miles through blizzards and 900 miles through ice storms to be home for the holidays. So can I just say THANK YOU READERS for allowing me to write full time and live close to my family so I don’t have to risk my life to be home for Christmas. And my Aunt’s house is less than 2 miles away, so even if there is a blizzard, I think I can handle 2 miles for some of her famous Egg Nog. I’m really looking forward to my son coming home from college for Christmas. This year, he’s the one driving 900 miles. Poor dear.
Happy Holidays!

The Other Half of the Grave by @jfrostauthor is an The Other Half of the Grave by @jfrostauthor is another of my top reads for 2022.

I read the first book of the Night Huntress Series, Halfway to the Grave in 2009, and I can honestly say it’s still in my top 3 series ever, so when I saw she was writing the first book again from the male POV this time, I was a little nervous but also excited. Thankfully I had nothing to be nervous about! I absolutely LOVED it and I am so glad to hear she is continuing to do Bone’s POV for the 2nd book as well!

Another 2022 Top Favorite is Carrie Soto is Back b Another 2022 Top Favorite is Carrie Soto is Back by Taylor Jenkins Reid. I am still blown away by the fact that this non-tennis fan loved this all-tennis book so much. I loved that Carrie Soto is Back tackled so many issues women in sports face, especially women of color. This powerful story really illustrated the costs of greatness, and the sacrifices one needs to make in order to make it to the top. The narration made it even better, and the tennis had me on the edge of my seat! (I don’t even like tennis!)
