PUCKED (The PUCKED Series Book 1)Ā by Helena Hunting
With a famous NHL player for a stepbrother, Violet Hall is well acquainted with the playboy reputation of many a hockey star. So of course she isnāt interested in legendary team captain Alex Waters or his pretty, beat-up face and rock-hard six-pack abs. When Alex inadvertently obliterates Violetās misapprehension regarding the inferior intellect of hockey players, he becomes much more than just a hot body with the face to match.
Suffering from a complete lapse in judgment, Violet discovers just how good Alex is with the hockey stick in his pants. Violet believes her night of orgasmic magic with Alex is just that: one night. But Alex starts to call. And text. And email and send extravagantāand quirkyāgifts. Suddenly, he’s too difficult to ignore, and nearly impossible not to like.
The problem is, the media portrays Alex as a total player, and Violet doesnāt want to be part of the game.
My Mini Review: (See the full 5 star review hereĀ complete with some funny quotes)
I really pucking loved the stupid vagina jokes and dick jokes and other immature idiocies in Pucked. I also enjoyed the romance, the angst, the sweetness, and the awesome sex. From what Iāve seen, you either love Violet or hate her. I totally loved her, but it took a little time before I came to that conclusion. The playful banter between the hero and heroine were exactly what I absolutely LOVE to read about, and I think Ms. Hunting did an amazing job.Ā Pucked was the perfect blend of silly humor, sweet romance and hot sex, andĀ I hope she writes a spin-off, because Iāll snatch it right up. (Hee-heeā¦snatch)

PUCKED UpĀ (Book 2) by Helena Hunting
Miller āBuckā Butterson has been banging his way through life ever since a puck to the face fixed his messed up front teeth. After five years in the NHL, deflecting goals on the ice and scoring them with puck bunnies, Miller has decided heās ready for a girlfriend. A real, non-bunny girlfriend to take on dates, and not jump into bed with after five seconds of conversation.
Miller thinks heās found that woman in his teammateās sister. Except, unlike team captain and all-around nice guy Alex Watersāwho happens to date his stepsister, Millerās media reputation as a manwhore is well earned. Beyond that minor detail, Miller doesnāt know the first thing about relationships or the time and effort they require.
Miller learnsāeventuallyāthat if he wants to make Sunshine āSunnyā Waters fall for him, he’s going to have to do a whole lot more than show her his stick skills in the bedroom.
My Mini Review (See the full review here with quotes):
I know this review sounds pretty negative, which isn’t like me, but I expected more after Pucked. The set-up for Pucked Over had me really excited though, and now that I’m reading it, I’m loving it. Overall I really did enjoy Pucked Up. I just didn’t connect with Sunny and felt more sorry for Buck (Miller) than I felt like he was a book boyfriend. I mean the poor guy just had everything go wrong! He had to work, HARD to get Sunny to return his feelings, and I just never felt like he got them back from Sunny 100%. Overall, I would recommend reading this if you loved Pucked, because you will Love Pucked Over too, and you need to read Pucked Up to fill in the blanks. It’s still a fun read, it just didn’t make me want to hug my kindle at the end.

PUCKED OverĀ (Book 3) by Helena Hunting
Lily LeBlanc isnāt versed in the art of casual sex, but after seven years in an on-again, off-again relationship, sheās definitely willing to give it a shot. And who better to try it with than her best friendās boyfriendās best friend? What could possibly go wrong? Nothing at all.
NHL player, Randy Ballistic, lives up to his last name on the ice and in the bedroom. His best friend and teammate has recently given up the puck bunnies and traded them in for a real girlfriend. And she just happens to have a seriously feisty, extra-hot best friend on the rebound. Randyās more than happy to be Lilyās spring board back into the dating scene.
Casual sex is only casual until those pesky things called emotions get involved. Once that happens, someoneās bound to gets pucked over.
My Mini Review (See my full 5 star review with quotes & Deleted Scenes here):
I loved Pucked. I enjoyed Pucked up, even more so because it introduced Lily and Randy from Pucked Over. While not quite as funny as Pucked (because there just can’t be two Violets in one group), Pucked Over was a more mature addition to the series. Don’t worry, not too mature, but this one was filled with a lot more emotion. It was still hilarious and hot but it was also heartfelt and sweet. I enjoyed seeing the growth of Lily and Randy together and apart, and visiting with the couples from the two previous books. If I had to choose between Pucked and Pucked Over, I’d have a hard time. I totally recommend reading the series in order for the full effect.

Forever Pucked (The PUCKED Series Book 4) by Helena Hunting
Being engaged to Alex Waters, team captain and the highest paid NHL player in the league, is awesome. How could it not be?
In addition to being an amazing hockey player, heās an incurable romantic with an XL heart, and an XXL hockey stick in his pants. And he knows how to use it. Incredibly, orgasmically well. Alex is the whole package and more. Literally. Like his package is insane. Total world record holder material.
So it makes complete sense that Violet Hall canāt wait to nail him down to the matrimonial mattress and become Mrs. Violet Waters.
Itās so romantic.
Violet is totally stoked to set a date.
Eventually. At some point. Likely before the next millennium. Or when Violet stops getting hives every time someone brings up the wedding, and their mothers stop colluding on stadium sized venues. Whichever comes first.
***Forever PUCKED is a followup to PUCKED (The Pucked Series Book 1), while it is not necessary to have read Pucked Up (Book 2) or Pucked Over (Book 3) it is highly recommended to that you read Pucked first.***
Here is my mini review (See the full review with quotes here):
It was such a nice surprise that Forever Pucked was a full length book and not just a short wedding story. As funny as Violet is, there was some very serious issues that happened in the book. I loved being back in the Pucked world, especially with Violet and Alex, but to me sometimes it was just too much. Like Violet became a caricature of her already silly self. That being said, I still really enjoyed the book, and I am hoping for a Lance book!

***A PUCKED Series Sequel featuring the couple most likely to be found getting it on in a bathroom. PUCKED UNDER is best read after the standalone novel PUCKED OVER***
Here is my mini review (See the whole audiobook review with quotes here):
If you are a fan of the Pucked Series, I promise you, Pucked Under will not disappoint. We visit with all three couples and touch on the two soon-to-be couples. There was lots of fun, a ton of sex, and lots of friendship, but Pucked Under had a little more emotion than some of the previous ones. Since this is the first audiobook Iāve done in the series, I think that is where I lost a little of the love. They just arenāt anywhere near as funny via audio as they were in my head. But I love Lily and Randy, and I was thrilled to dig even deeper into their relationship. I canāt wait for more in the series!

Pucked Off by Helena Hunting
*A Standalone novel*
Iām NHL defenseman Lance Romero, AKA Lance āRomance.”
Iām notorious for parties and excess. I have the most penalty minutes in the league. I get into the most fights. I take the most hits. Iām a player on and off the ice. Iām the one women with no inhibitions want.
Not because I like the notoriety, but because I donāt know how to be any other way.
I have secrets. Ones I shared with the wrong person, and she used them against me. Sometimes she still does. I should cut ties. But she makes it difficult, because sheās the kind of bad I deserve.
At least thatās what I believed until someone from my past gets caught up in my present. Sheās all the good things in this world. She lights up my dark.
I shouldnāt want her.
But I do.
I should leave her alone.
But I wonāt.
Here is my mini review (see the whole review with quotes here):
Pucked Off is in many ways the best in the Pucked series. Though the original,Ā Pucked, will always be my favorite (how can you not love Super MC?), Pucked Off is so different you canāt even compare it. I would not call it a romantic comedy, the way the rest of the series is. It is a serious, emotional, angsty book, with lots of the fun humor Helena is known for to break up the emotion. I think Pucked Off can absolutely stand alone, and in some ways it may be better to read this first, especially if you like an angstier, more emotional story.
