The idea that I thought was great of my husbands to make this a 7 day giveaway is kicking my ass right now! I get a separate e-mail for every comment I receive on the blog. That’s a shitload of e-mail! That’s actually where I read your comments, since I have to open the e-mails to weed out the tons of spam that gets past my filters. It is worth it though, because your comments are cracking me up! I love reading your stories. Because of the fun nature of the questions I’m asking, we will be skipping the Wicked Book Girls Night In for the month of June. Since there is already a Wicked Book GNOĀ on June 29th!
Usually on our Girls Nights In (Late Saturday nights) we drink and talk about sex, dirty words, turn-ons…but I need to catch up on reading and reviewing, so I’m taking a break this month. š Ā But I’ll make up for it with our favorite topic for the comment tonight.
I have read 3 books that I need to get reviews up for. And I have a ton waiting to be read (don’t we all!) so lets get right to the giveaway (mailed stuff is US only).
- $5.oo Amazon Gift Card
- A Signed Copy of Grounded by RK Lilley (See my review) and an e-book of LanaĀ (See my review)Ā plus Swag (See the Up In The Air Series)
- A Signed copy of Love Unscripted by Tina Reber (See my review)
- Paperback Copy of Tidal by Emily Snow
- The entire e-book Mad World Series e-books by Christine Zolendz (series order with reviews)

denise smith says
none of them make me upset really
Jenny Dauksa Schaber says
I can say that most words/phrases don’t bother me. However, “lady bits” and “mound/mons” irritate me as well as references to feamale genetalia to flowers. I adore the fact that there are so many female authors that use the word “cunt”. I’ve never understood the issues women have with that word.
Savanna Phillips says
None really bother me actually LOL Thanks so much for a chance to win š
Karina says
I have no issues with words. although at times I know the author is going for sexy, but it sometimes it makes me giggle. But, that could be just me, I mean I laughed so hard watching Magic Mike. I’m sure that’s not what they intended when they made that movie! (:
Jenn says
I generally don’t get too bothered by words although ‘mound’ and ‘my sex’ tend to get on my nerves. I don’t think they are very attractive. š
Lacey T says
I loathe the phrase ‘love canal’! It just annoys me to no end. But other than that, I’m pretty okay with most dirty words and phrases.
Meagan W. says

Diana Doan says
I dislike the word “moist”. :p
I like the word “fuck”.
Joanne Christenson says
It’s not so much the words but how they are used…..I do not like certain phrases I’ve been subject to…….. tender nubbin. Licks my Petals. ..plunges into my sheath. Pulses fiercely into my channel….my wet little kitten….and I am just not a fan of licking sweat. No.
Brenna says
I usually only get annoyed if the words are overused. But the word moist grosses me out!
twilightangel17 says
Dirty words don’t bother me, but one word that is overused and NOT at all sexy? Core…I think I flinch everytime I read it!
Megan M. says
I wholeheartedly agree with Joanne…it’s usually not the word themselves, but the phrases and context. One exception: “c*nt” isn’t my favorite term of endearment for lady parts. Or for nasty bitches!
Amanda D says
I say ditto to Joanne’s comment. Certain phrases are just irritating. I don’t care for the word cunt either.
Karen G. says
During steamy scenes most words never bother me except if the man calling the the female a slut or a whore, I never get that.
Congratulations on your Blogaversary! <3

Darci says
None of the words really bother me, but here’s a phrase that drives me crazy: “I felt him empty his seed into me”. I don’t remember the book, but I remember reading it and thinking, who calls it his “seed”, and how did you feel it? I don’t think I’ve ever felt that actual part…maybe it’s just me!
Katherine Hutto says
Yeah I would also have to agree with Joanne up there. Also mound and rosebud tend to drive me nuts. Besides those two most of them I love.
Joan says
I don’t really have a problem with dirty words but it really really creeps me out when I read about women using “daddy” as a pet name ~ especially during a sex scene. Yuck!!
Ana's Attic says
Knight by Kristen Ashley. Hated that the first time. The second time, when I expected it, I dealt way better.
Mindy Jarreau says
I agree with Sharilyn. Nothing bothers me unless it is used repeatedly. But I just love the word “cock”. It’s a classic.

TG says
Nothing really bothers me when I am reading, I love it when it’s dirty!!!
T Hammond says
Geez, I absolutely hate cunny and twat and ‘dewy petals’ (almost barfed when I read a book that had ‘little wet kitten’)… for males I hate stuff like ‘the monster in his pants” and crap like that. Just give me the straight classics and forget the artsy stuff
Ana's Attic says
I pointed it out in my review of that book. Who really refers to their own vajayjay as “my little wet kitten”?
Nichole says
Cunt. :-/
Yvette Cervera says

Linda says
nub, nubbin, cunt, cum – all ick ick ick words!
Blesha says
No, I’m not bothered by words like that. What I like is when there is a variety of words used, more descriptive words instead of the same standard words over and over again. An author who can write a story with a lot of descriptive words, gets me fascinated very fast.

No issues with dirty words.
Stacy Bleach says
Can’ think of any words that bother me.
Melissa C. says
nope not really
Adrienne Scales says
I sometimes have issues with words. If it makes me laugh then it’s obviously not sexy. I recently saw the word nubbin used. I cracked up every time I read it. I don’t mind most words. What bothers me more is the over use in a book. If in every sentence he calls her kiddo or something then it seems less realistic. Thanks for the amazing giveaway!!!
Kara says
No dirty words really bother me. But I hate the word panties. HATE IT!
Not fond on the word moist either. Both of which seem to go hand in hand…

Sue Ellen Robertson says
I am originally from Europe and have had an open mind so to me nothing will make me blush or surprise me. However, I am finding out new words that I never even knew were used for different sexy scenes or parts. It was funny though when I took a friend to Nancy’s Nook (which is a sex shop) and she was embarrassed just to walk into the place.
Thank you for the chance to win and for throwing an amazing giveaway <3
Ruth says
The only way any words bother me is if it’s used way too much. Then I feel like I should down a shot every time I read it.

I actually like dirty words, all of them, they’re hot. But it depends on how they are used end when. Maybe the only word I don’t get is whore. I just don’t see the appeal of someone calling me that. I’d get pissed at him for sure, heh.

Meat curtains or honey pot. If my husband said something like “I am going to pound your meat curtains” or “I love the taste of your honey pot”, I would punch him in the eye. All else is totally game! Like the other night, my husband was in roaring form by not using a condom and I was like “Baby alert! We’re heading into baby territory here!” He was all like, “So…I would be happy to have my baby in my baby. I’m going to fucking cum in you.” After we were done (even though it was super freaking hot), I was all like, “Have you been reading my books or something?” LOL
