Romance Book and Audiobook Reviews and Deals
I like paranormal books, but I prefer ones that take place in our world with the Vampires and Werewolves hiding in plain sight. But The Fever Series by Karen Marie Moning came so highly recommended to me, I had to read it. It is a little scarier than books I read, and the books have cliffhangers, but it is one of… Read More
I loved this series, an adult series by the author of the Vampire Academy series: “As if love wasn’t hard enough! Imagine not being able to touch your boyfriend without sucking away his soul. Welcome to the world of Georgina Kincaid, a reluctant succubus living in Seattle who always seems to find herself in the middle of supernatural intrigue…” … Read More
I am a huge lover of JR Wards Black Dagger Brotherhood Series. Hot, sexy, alpha Vampires, with each book another character’s HEA. JR Ward also writes the Fallen Angel series. This series takes place in the same town as the Black Dagger Brotherhood, Caldwell, NY. There is some crossover between the two series, but not a lot. Though I love… Read More

If you don’t read them in order, that’s OK, some characters pop up… Read More

Many women who have been loving the paranormal romance genre since Twilight and True Blood (Based on the Sookie Stackhouse books by Charlaine Harris) are turning to contemporary romance with ‘alpha males’ and BDSM Romance since Fifty Shades of Grey came out. This can work both ways. If you read Fifty Shades of Grey, and all of the other suggestions… Read More
Updated April 2023 The Night Huntress and Night Huntress World books by Jeaniene Frost are my absolute favorite book series ever. Fifty Shades of Grey is up there too but I’m not sure anything could knock down Cat and Bones. You say you don’t like vampire books? Have you ever really tried? Bones is rich, impossibly handsome, strong, dangerous, controlling,… Read More
