The Night Huntress and Night Huntress World books by Jeaniene Frost are my absolute favorite book series ever. Fifty Shades of Grey is up there too but I’m not sure anything could knock down Cat and Bones.

You say you don’t like vampire books? Have you ever really tried? Bones is rich, impossibly handsome, strong, dangerous, controlling, (sound familiar?) and has a few hundred years of sexual experience under his belt. Catherine is a young half vampire who hates vampires and wants to kill them all. Together, their chemistry is off the charts. Because this takes place in our world with vampires and others living in secret, these books are easier to get into than other paranormal series where you have to learn the rules of this new world.

Jeaniene Frost is the writer of the famous “chapter 32”, still one of the hottest scenes I have read to date. While these books are not erotica, there is a healthy amount of heat going on. I read her books very quickly, quicker than most, and the lovely Jeaniene Frost has also stood up to publishers and lowered her e-book prices.

The Night Huntress series follows Cat and Bones. But there have been 2 (soon to be 3) books set in the Night Huntress World that feature other characters with Cat and Bones just showing up for a cameo. There are also shorts and novellas. I will put here the reading order for all: All titles link to Amazon.
