It’s been close to four and a half years since I started Ana’s Attic. It was originally more of a website that sold sexy things, but I concentrated so much on books that I changed it to a book blog after about 6 months. Unfortunately, you were unable to change your Facebook page name back then, so I had to abandon 4,000+ likes and start over about 3 years ago. So we finally hit the big 25k! WOW!
I want to thank you all for the support you have shown over the years. The industry has changed a ridiculous amount. When I started my sale lists 4 years ago, it was a chore to find 50-100 new sales every week. New books didn’t go on sale, and when boys did go for 99¢ it was for a few days. Now I spend way more time tracking sales than I do reading, and I am still just as picky as ever when it comes to the books I promote.
Here is a little video I posted on Facebook.
Facebook has changed so much! Out of the 25,000 likes, about 500 see each post if I’m having a REALLY good day. We post sales all day long. You can always find the latest posts either on Facebook of course, or here on the blog in the sidebar or under daily updates. My Facebook feed is duplicated there. If you want to be sure not to miss when posted, click see first or get notifications or both. But the real way to see me is to interact! Click, like, comment and share, or I will disappear and you’ll miss all the sales and giveaways.

Also, if you haven’t noticed, I am listening to a lot more audiobooks. If you don’t want to read my review because you think audio isn’t for you, just be aware that the reviews are pretty much the same as the book review would be, with the addition of a narration rating. Because I spend about 20 hours a week on my lists (at least), audiobooks keep me focused and I am not distracted as easily by every little squirrel. You can now find an (au) symbol on my sale lists to indicate an audible upgrade for under $3.
Last thing. On reviews, while my reviews may be longish, I work very hard not to spoil anything. I choose quotes to give you a feel for the writing style, and the set-up of the book & characters. But you can skip right down to the likes and dislikes and my “Down & Dirty” review which is a quicky for those of you who only like short reviews.
Once again, thanks so much for your support both for Ana’s Attic and the 5 Wicked Book Weekend events (with another to come in April 2018). Enter below or on my Facebook page.
