Vi Keeland & Penelope Ward – Sexy Scrooge
The last thing I needed was to share an Uber with Scrooge—a cocky lawyer on a snowy Christmas Eve. It was bad enough I was on my way to court for the gift of eviction. Although maybe today wouldn’t turn out so bad after all. The Sexy Scrooge and I started to connect as we trudged our way through a storm. Our ride was about to end. But would I ever see him again?
My Review:
A perfect little Christmas Scrooge/Christmas Miracle story! Meredith, who has been having a streak of bad luck, jumps in an Uber to go to court for her eviction and lands in Adam’s lap. They get “close” on the ride.
“Apparently I have a magnet on my crotch, seeing as though it’s not the first time this morning you accidentally made contact with my groin area.”
I read the whole story with a smile on my face. Though I wish it was full length, it was an adorable, flirty but not dirty short story. Maybe they will consider writing this full length for next year?

Jodi Ellen Malpas – Big Baubles
Shannon’s last-minute Christmas shopping trip quickly goes from tedious to thrilling when she meets a sexy stranger in Harrods. He’s irresistibly cheeky, hot as sin, and he seems to want to play. So when he sets Shannon the challenge of completing her Christmas shopping before he completes his, she can’t help but accept. And she plans on winning. But the sexy stranger plays dirty on the shop floor. And even dirtier in the women’s changing rooms…
My Review:
Shannon is last-minute shopping in Harrods on Christmas Eve. Being so busy with work, this is the only chance she has to shop for her family. When she meets a sexy stranger in the same boat, sparks fly, and they get into a little friendly gift-buying competition. I loved the banter, and this one was hot! There were a few British words I was unfamiliar with, but that was just fine.
“God, am I really going to do this? In a changing room? In Harrods? With a man I don’t know? Does he do this often? Hunt women in department stores and have his wicked way with them?”

Emma Chase – The Naughty List
Evie Sanders has a secret. She’s in love with her boss, Jace Winters, the hot as hell, hardworking owner of the best bar in the snowy, ski resort town of Alpine. She thinks Jace barely knows she exists—that to him, she’s just an employee. But at this year’s Christmas party, bells get jingled, stockings get stuffed, snow—and other things—get thoroughly plowed, and Christmas wishes (even the naughty ones) just might come true.
My Review:
This one was hotter than Emma usually writes, and I am not complaining! I adored this erotic short story. Evie has been in love with her boss at the bar she works at for a long time. When a co-worker asks her to fill out an anonymous sexual fantasy questionnaire for a class she is taking, Evie fills it out with fantasies of her boss. When the list ends up in the wrong hands, it may actually land in the right ones.
He presses his finger against my lips, silencing my words. “No talking, baby. We’ll talk later, not now. The only words I want to hear out of your mouth now are yes, and more and my fucking name. Okay?”
I loved this one, and holy hell it was H-O-T!

Marie Force – Joyous—A Quantum Christmas
After a remarkable year that included a wedding and a big Oscar win for Quantum Productions, Hollywood superstar Flynn Godfrey wants to give his wife, Natalie, and closest friends a Christmas they will never forget. But when best-laid plans go awry, Flynn will learn that sometimes the season’s greatest gifts are those that can’t be bought or wrapped.
My Review:
Joyous seems to be a book to read after the Quantum Series. I struggled through the first 2 chapters and then put it aside. This was more of a reunion story for all the couples in the series and meant for readers of her series.

Corinne Michaels – A Holiday Lift
Holly has had enough pain around the holidays to last her lifetime. All she wants is to focus on her work. All of that becomes impossible when she’s stuck in the elevator with her co-worker Dean. She can’t avoid his intense stares, deep voice, and scent that drives her crazy. Will the holiday season bring them an unexpected lift or will they come crashing down?
My Review:
Bad things happen to Holly around the holidays and she just wants to bury herself in work. When a campaign pitch deadline is shortened to hours instead of days, Holly gets stuck in the elevator with her #1 competition. He also happens to be a one-night-stand who she thinks ghosted her and things are more than tense between them, until that tension turns to more.
“I’m going to make you love Christmas again, Holls. I’m going to show you that Santa, snow, the music, and all things are full of joy.”
This was an OK story. I basically had to reread it to review it because I forgot it.

Susan Stoker – Best Christmas Ever
When Chris and Sienna meet during an accident in Texas, the perfect strangers soon discover they’re inexplicably linked…in more ways than one. Coincidence? Perhaps. Or maybe the makings of their very own Christmas miracle.

My Review:
Bravo Susan Stoker! A love story between 2 older single parents with adult kids that will appeal to any age. Chris is visiting Texas to welcome his son home from deployment on Christmas Eve when he is T-boned by a pickup truck. Sienna is there to welcome her daughter back as well when she sees the accident. As a paramedic, Sienna jumped into action and comforted the trapped and claustrophobic Chris while they waited for the jaws of life.
“You’re my angel, Sienna. My Christmas angel.”
I loved that we got a story about an older couple that never rubbed the ages in your face. It could have just as easily been younger people.. This one seemed a bit more like a beginning of a story than a whole one even though you can infer the happy ending. I just would have liked a little more completion.
