The Dirty Girl Duet by Meghan March

Must be read together. Spin-off of the Dirty Billionaire Series, but it is not necessary to read that first.

Meghan March is totally a new top favorite author. Seriously, Cav, the hero in these books, is the perfect book boyfriend for me. Mr. Ana likes to call me his dirty girl, and now I guess I know why. I like it a little crude and dirty. I love dirty talkers. I love a dominating, commanding man, and I love a little kink thrown in. Dirty Girl and Dirty Love had it all in spades. Plus a great story, banter, and just the right ratio of sex to story. The Dirty Girl Duet is totally a new favorite. I am currently listening to the Dirty Billionaire series on audible, with Sebastian York as the male narrator, and YUM, I love it just as much. I wish I read the series first though, because now I am kind of going backwards, but don’t get me wrong, The Dirty Girl Duet completely stands alone.

Greer is an attorney in New York who just walked in on her boyfriend of 2 years cheating on her. Even though it didn’t hurt anything like when the guy she was falling for three years before left with no explanation and became Hollywood’s hottest action star, it still stung. So, getting drunk with her bad-influence best friend Banner, she places a personal ad.

“Desperately seeking rich, famous, single guy with a giant cock to make my lying, cheating, should’ve-been-born-dickless ex-boyfriend realize what he’s just lost.
Oh, and I give great head. Just sayin’. “

Greer gets thousands of responses of course, but the ad catches Cavanaugh Westman’s attention. Cavanaugh was a maintenance man when he was dating Greer Karas three years earlier. Greer is the little sister of billionaire Creighton Karas from the Dirty Billionaire series. (Though it absolutely isn’t necessary to read that series first, it may have explained a few things to me about the brother-sister relationship, because Creighton just seems like a total dick to his sister.) Cav left to prove himself and so he could come back and feel worthy of Greer. Now that he is a star, he is ready to claim her, but she never knew why he left without so much as a backwards glance, just when their relationship was getting somewhere good.

“Three years ago, I walked before I could dirty up her pristine little world. But now? All bets are off.”

So he answers the ad.

“Cav Westman shows up out of nowhere because my crazy ad actually caught his attention, and then he whips his dick out, I grab it. and he bangs me against a wall.”

OMG, Cav was so alpha and possessive, and he was going to get what he wanted no matter what. I love a man who says what he wants then goes after it and lets no obstacle stop him.

“Mine. The taste of Greer on my lips and her body in my hands unleashes a wave of primal possessiveness. She’s not the girl who got away; she’s the one I walked away from. Life doesn’t always give us second chances, but this one is mine and I’m taking it. And her.”

I highlighted tons of hot quotes, and bookmarked some hot scenes to return to when I need a little…warm up if you know what I mean. 😉 While I have read hotter books, kinkier books, books with more sex, The Dirty Girl Duet was my perfect storm of dirty deliciousness.

“There’s no escaping your punishment, baby girl. You agreed to play my game, and you’re going to take every smack you deserve for stealing that orgasm.” He lowers to speak closer to my ear. “And you’re gonna fucking love it.”

Oh God, I loved the way he talked! Letting her know just what he planned on doing.

“Next time you wear this skirt with me, you’re not wearing panties, and I’m going to make you come while we’re in a room full of people.”

It wasn’t all so easy though. Cav was hiding a huge secret. One that could make him lose her.

Dirty Girl ended on a HUGE cliffy, but luckily both are out now, so you can just go right to Dirty Love.

“I would lie, cheat, and steal to call this woman my own.”

Cav will not let her go again. This time he stops at nothing to have Greer for life.

“I’ll do whatever it takes. When you’re the prize, there’s no line I won’t cross”.

They have some rocky times, but don’t all relationships?

“You have to fight through the darkness to appreciate the beauty in the light. That’s what we’re doing. Fighting through the dark shit between us so we don’t take for granted what’s on the other side. If it were easy, would it be as special?”

Cav. Is. MINE. Seriously, he may be my favorite hero yet. He mixes the perfect amount of sweet, sexy, dirty and kinky.
Greer was smart, fun, silly, feisty, kinky and spunky.
Banner. Love the best friend! I hope she gets a book.
The sex may have been the most perfect I ever read.
While there is a lot of sex, I never felt like it was too much or too long (maybe because it’s so good!)
Well developed storyline, which I think would have been even better had I read the Dirty Billionaire Series first.
Lots of twists and turns.
I love the ‘baby girl’ endearment.

Dislikes:

Greer could have had a bigger backbone or made Cav suffer more.

The Down & Dirty:

The Dirty Girl Duet is now a favorite duet, and just from these two books, Meghan March is a new favorite author. She wrote the perfect kinky, dirty, possessive alpha hero in Cav, and made me love Greer and her best friend Banner. I was not a fan of Greer’s brother, Creighton, but I suppose I will be as soon as I read The Dirty Billionaire Series. I am already listening to the audiobook of the first one and loving it. I highly recommend The Dirty Girl duet if you like a lighter, sexier, more erotic read with a possessive, demanding dirty talking alpha.
