Have Yourself a Curvy Little Christmas: Adult Contemporary Novella with humor
Book 1.5 in the Perfect Fit Series by Sugar Jamison
Can Stand Alone
Have Yourself a Curvy Little Christmas by Sugar Jamison takes place about a year after Dangerous Curves Ahead (which I loved, see my review), and has completely different characters, so it isn’t necessary to read the first book before this.
Dina, the heroine of this book, was actually the skinny sister of Ellis from the first book, and I absolutely HATED her in the first book! But now, a year later, poor, a little chubby, and alone with a 10 month old son, you couldn’t help but feel for the former party girl.
Very broke and a little desperate, Dina takes a bus across the country with her baby, Dash, to demand that the baby’s daddy, who completely blew her off when he found out, step up and support him. A wealthy playboy, Dina hasn’t spoken to him since he abandoned her in her early days of her pregnancy.
“I think building a house on top of a mountain was just a way to keep chubby people out. They should just have a sign that says: ‘No Fat Chicks Allowed.’ But they don’t know your mommy, do they, baby? They’re not keeping me out.”
Exhausted from days traveling, Dina shows up at the big house, but the door was answered not by the baby daddy, but by his reclusive brother, Ben. Ben has been alone and mourning his wife for 9 years, and his brother, the baby’s dad has passed away too. He lives alone with a house full of servants. He promised himself he would never be with another woman again, but when Dina shows up with Dash, the man who has always wanted kids of his own wakes up after a 9 year ‘nap’.
“That’s because I’m staring at your ass. It often leaves me speechless.”Ā
I enjoyed watching this poor girl charm the pants, literally, off this lonely man, and it was filled with some funny lines that made me giggle.
āCome on, my sweet girl. Wouldnāt you like to make love beneath a Christmas tree just once?ā āI might get pine needles in my hoo hoo.ā āIāll pick them out.ā
I am really enjoying this series, and I love how the heroines are curvy, but it’s not a huge part of the story, but it’s just enough.
“I’m supremely glad you’re not the same girl you used to be. I like your weight. I like your curves. I want to eat you like an apple.”
Rating: 4.25 stars 4 heat
I can’t wait to read more in this fun, sexy series filled with my favorite thing, flirtatious banter.

Me too, I really like this author’s style, and the fact that these aren’t labeled BBW, the curviness is not the main part of the book.
