A Christmas To Remember is an anthology of Christmas stories from various authors including Kristen Ashley (the reason for the purchase). There is a story from each author followed by a long excerpt from a book from each author.
Dream a Little Dream by Jill Shalvis: Part of the Lucky Harbor series, but I never felt like I was missing anything by not reading the series. Melissa keeps people at a distance. She lives in a crappy building, and never lets people get close to her, even the hot and sexy fireman she has been in a friends with benefits relationship with.
When her apartment building catches on fire, her knight in shining armor is none other than Ian, the firefighter she has been blowing off.
Her near-death experience changes everything.
4.5 stars. I’ll be reading more from this author.
Every Year by Kristen Ashley: The reason I bought this! I loved a Chaos Christmas! Shy and Landon are having their first happy Christmas with Tyra and Tack and the rest of the gang.
“I held on, pressed close, and enjoyed my first Christmas kiss from Shy Cage.
And I enjoyed it a whole lot.
When he broke the kiss and lifted his head half an inch, he whispered, “Merry Christmas, Tabby.”
Oh yeah.
Loved my man.”
Seeing them all work so hard to make Ride and Cut’s Christmas awesome was great to see. I loved it!
This story was worth buying the book for.

Silent Night by Hope Ramsay: Maryanne is a single mom with an infant, all alone and broke for Christmas. She takes a chance and drives to her cousin’s farm she remembered from childhood. She breaks down on the way, and trudges through a freezing storm to take refuge in what she thinks is her cousin’s barn. Until a handsome stranger comes home.
Daniel is the ‘boy next door’ Maryanne has always dreamed of, and he made Christmas a dream for Maryanne and her son, for many years to come.
This was a cute, sweet story, and I will read more from the author.

Have Yourself a Messy Little Christmas by Molly Cannon: Lincoln seems to be a lonely, messy scrooge. His mother surprises him with a professional organizer who shows up at his house dressed as Mrs. Clause. As attractive as she is, he doesn’t want to get organized. He likes things just the way they are. She wears him down of course, and despite his scrooge ways, the blonde gets him in the Christmas spirit.
Fun concept, but a little too short and sweet to do much for me.
3.5 stars
A Family for Christmas by Marilyn Pappano: Jared is a Doctor from a very rich, very snooty family of Doctors. He wants to prove himself and takes a contract job as a small town doc in a very rural town instead of being a surgeon in the big city. Dressed as an elf, Ilena, a widow with a young son make him feel like maybe he can stay there in a small town and settle for the rest of his life.
It was OK, but something just didn’t hook me.

If you’re looking for a few short sweet Christmas stories, this is a great anthology. It’s a good mix of sweet and sexy, and is absolutely worth it for any Kristen Ashley fan.

Jill Shalvis’ books are to be read especially the Lucky Harbor series. Funny and heartwarming. She’s on of my fav authors. I love Marilyn Pappano as well and have read all her books except the newer ones. Too many authors to play catch up. Thanks for the review. I missed this book out somehow.

I read it a while back, so my review wasn’t as thorough as usual. I had just forgotten to review.
