Hello! My Skinny Sangria is ready to go, and it’s time for Girls Night In! It has been a week….I have read ONE book in over a week! ONE, and it was a re-read!!! So obviously, he is my book boyfriend, though he would have been no matter what. It’s Brady from Because of You by TE Sivec (Coming out this week!) He is so real, yet still awesome.
I have been working on my new website for Wicked Book Events. I SUCK at this!!!! TOTALLY SUCK. My husband does all of my graphics, but doing coding and stuff for blogs just sucks. So while getting that up and crying while doing it, I hired my designer, Utterly Chaotic to fix it up. I cant wait until Tuesday/Wednesday to see it! Besides that, I got photos of the venue for the Wicked Book Girls Night Out in June, and it was crap! $55/pp for a food court! So I quickly found another place, with transportation and better food. I’m so excited to meet the amazing authors!
All this while it was my time of month, and my first week on Weight Watchers. (4 pounds gone!)
So, it’s tough to think of new ideas for this! Please, give me some ideas of things you’d like to talk about! Anything is up for grabs.

This week’s topic is First Sight Attractions. What is the first thing you notice on a guy? Something you immediately get attracted to? What about an immediate turn off? We discussed a lot of this last week, but these are FIRST impressions.
While we are at it…we are girlfriends here, what about friends? What makes you want to be friends with someone? Do you have a “type”? What do you notice first on another girl?
I don’t really have a type, but a good smile and self confidence, not cockiness are a must. If the guy is wearing Affliction or Ed Hardy, that’s an immediate turn-off. I tend to like my guys lean, and I definitely don’t like a swollen body-builder type. I like facial hair, or not, but not little patches, and goatees are not my type. I LOVE scruff. As I’ve gotten older and fatter, I guess I could be more attracted to a bigger guy, but honestly, I notice a guy is hot, but haven’t found myself attracted to anyone besides my very own, thin, muscly guy. (If he shaved his chest and waxed up I could put his torso on my facebook wall).
On girls, I notice hair. I have a hair obsession. I am attracted to funny people who laugh at themselves and don’t take anything too seriously. I strangely never seem to notice boob size or noses. I am not a fan of the “Jappy” girl, though I am one, by birth.
What about you? Grab a drink and chime in!

Biceps are a big attraction for me
Ana's Attic says
Especially veiny ones!
R says
I agree with you that confidence is super sexy
Kerry G says
Tall guys, definitely tall guys. Tattoos. Dark hair. Nice smile. Turn offs – took much gunk in the hair. Ed Hardy anything. White sunglasses. I know this is hypocritical, but I do not like really heavy men. A little meat is good, but not too much.
Friends…I like someone with a genuine smile, who looks you in the eyes and likes to laugh.
Ana's Attic says
Eeew, hair gunk. Strangely, I like tattoos on other guys, but don’t want my guy to get one.
Kerry G says
If a guy has more product then me….ummm, no
YY says
I agree. He must not have more products that me or spend more time grooming than I do.
Minx Malone says
I love scruff, too. There’s something so manly about facial hair
Ana's Attic says
My husband’s grows in grey now 🙁
K.M. Golland says
I’m going to quickly put my 2 cents in then I have to run off and take my Mum shopping. It’s Sunday afternoon here!
I think I notice his hair first; if it suits him or not whether it being scruffy or neat. If his hair is some bogus style that belongs on a cartoon character I cringe and go pfft…yuk…moving on. Then I probably notice what his wearing; again if it suits him. I’m not a fan of skinny jeans on any man…skinny jeans screams teenage boy to me. After that it’s all about the eyes…then mouth…then arse!
Girls, it’s about what they are wearing. I think what a girl wears says a lot about them, it’s got to be appropriate to where you are. If you’re a Mum picking up your kids from school, I don’t want to see your tits or arse. If we are out at a club dancing…well yeah fair enough. 🙂
Ana's Attic says
Agreed! Some of the whorish outfits at car line are scary! I don’t like skinny, tight jeans, but baggy jeans are just as bad. I like a straight to slimmer cut on a guy. Baggy screams gangsta.
Dianna Kraskey says
THE “V’ Enough said!!!!!!!!
Kerry G says
Mmmmm, the V!
Ana's Attic says
The V is hot, but do you see that right away?
Kerry G says
If Im lucky 😉
Natasha W. says
HAHA great minds think alike
Natasha W. says
If you’re lucky.
Kerry G says
😉
Afraid someone I know will see this. says
Ana congratulations on your weight loss this week!
I am attracted to a man that is tall, muscular and nice hair. I have always been a bigger girl size 14. The man has to weigh more then me. My self esteem couldn’t take a man that weighed less. He should have a great sense of humor who can handle sarcasm. He should enjoy spending time with extended family. On women I think I have a good feel for my own competition. I can totally appreciate a woman who is beautiful or not an kind of rank my self somewhere on a scale compared to them.
Ana's Attic says
Ugh, I’ve always weighed more than my husband. Fucker.
Afraid someone I know will see this. says
You clearly have a great self esteem! Congratulations !!! I wish I did.
Ana's Attic says
I don’t. AT ALL. We were about the same weight when we met. Now I have 50 pounds on him 🙁
Dianna Kraskey says
Oh I almost forgot, A guy with a buzz cut and a little facial hair and a pair of Aviator sunglasses on. That’s hot!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ana's Attic says
yes!
Jennifer S says
I too, like scruff. I think Nice eyes and a great smile (dimples) are sexy. I like confidence but not arrogance.
Ana's Attic says
I don’t mind arrogance in the bedroom if it’s warranted.
YY says
Amen!
Kerry G says
Ass dimples!
Ana's Attic says
The ones between ass and back, right? Not the kind I have! LOL (Unless it’s MY ass you’re talking about. ha!)
Natasha W. says
I don’t wanna see any hail damage on my man’s ass.
Kerry G says
Of course its your ass Im talking about. Duh!
Ana's Attic says
I figured.
Kerry G says
Of course…you know I want ya
Antoinette G says
Def attracted to cute chubby boys…..also have a weakness for tattoos
Def turn-off hairy chests (a lil is good, but too much no thanks)
Ana's Attic says
That’s cute! I’ve never met anyone attracted to cute chubby boys!
K.M. Golland says
Yeah tattoos…Yum
Natasha W. says
Before my husband, I was always attracted to tattooed bad boys. I’m tattooed and pierced myself so I think it was a natural thing for me to be attracted to the same “type”. My husband has no tattoos or piercings but he caught my eye immediately because of his shaved head and facial hair. I LOVE a shaved head if the man has the head shape for it.
Ana's Attic says
I wan’t my guy to shave his, but I’m not sure he has the head for it. Still, his bald top would show less, and bald/buzzed is so commanding looking. I love that.
I also like longish hair (NOT past shoulders) as long as there is no receding at the same time.
Dudster says
Hey Ladies 🙂
First impression turn ons, buzz cuts or shaved heads, dark hair, scruff or close cropped goatees, jeans, boots and tees, tall lean bodies and even better if they have flannel or plaid shirts on. Love well defined arms, better with a tattoo, I am attracted to guys that have an appreance of loving the outdoors and is easy to laugh and comfortable with themselves.
The majority of my girlfriends have been my friends since kindergarden, we have very similar personalities, very dry sarcatic sense of humors, outgoing, spur of the moment kind of gals
Ana's Attic says
Mmmmm, I like that guy you describe.
Darci says
I like bigger guys with some meat on their bones, but not too much. I never knew this until I met my husband (who was a football player in college) and realized that was kinda my “type”. I’m 5’4 and he’s 6’5, so I think genetically my brain was trying to tell me to fight off the “short” gene in my family: ) I also love confidence. There’s a huge difference between confident and cocky. As for girls, I tend to notice how made-up they are. I’m pretty laid back, and can get all dressed up if I need to, but I’m a stay at home mom who wears black comfy pants on a regular basis. I don’t want my friends to judge me for this (unlike some of the uppity moms at my daughters preschool). Oh, and when I’m out, I always judge people by the drink they have, and if it fits them!
Ana's Attic says
Hate those uppity moms!
Natasha W. says
On women, it’s all about the personality. They have to be funny bitches who don’t get offended easily.
Ana's Attic says
Yes! (What about people who get upset when their sister tells their friends to put a gnome in on their ass while sleeping and take a photo?)
Natasha W. says
LOL…I’m never going to hear the end of that.
Kerry G says
DUDE…I had a gnome by my ass too!
Kara says
Absolutely agree!! I have NO filter! And I love laughing so they have to be just as funny as me ha!!!
Ana's Attic says
I agree! I hate Debbie Downers.
YY says
I like a little facial hair but do not like very hairy body…not a fan of a very hairy chest or definitely no back hair. At the same time I don’t want a guy who spends time shaving his arms and legs. They mustn’t be smoother than mine. 🙂 As for the hair on his head, I am fine with shaved bald, short or long, as long as it is neat and clean and works with his face. Love dark hair.
I don’t care for huge but I am not attracted to skinny. He needs to weigh more than me and be taller than me (I am average height and weight so most guys fall into this category). I prefer stylish but not trendy. No skinny jeans or capris on my guy.
What I notice first…a confident but friendly demeanor, full lips, a nice smile, good teeth, expressive eyes, strong arms and hands…oh, and a nice round firm butt…*sigh*
Ana's Attic says
Eew, back hair and capris! MMMmmmmm strong arms and hands.
Kerry G says
No. Manpris. Ever.
Kara says
I like a hard working man! So hands, manly working hands!! I married a firefighter so when he comes home smelling of fire……OH MY!!!!
Ana's Attic says
Oh wow, that IS hot!!!
Natasha W. says
Makes me want to burn my house down
Kara says
Now if only he would wear his gear home!!!
Ana's Attic says
He never does? Just the suspenders and pants with no shirt?
Kara says
I wish!!!!!! Apparently its a hassle to drag that stuff home!!! Maybe I should make a trip to the station and utilize the truck!! That isn’t frowned upon AT ALL, right????
Ana's Attic says
Have you ever snuck into the fire station or truck and had sex?
Kara says
No but not for lack of my trying!!! He seems to enjoy his job?!?! LAME!
Kerry G says
Firemen, policemen, military….yum!
YY says
I was busy thinking about the guys and forgot about the girls. When it comes to women, I first notice facial demeanor and attire. However, in the end, I like genuine, honest people who aren’t full of themselves and don’t look down on others so when I meet other women with these qualities, we tend to hit it off.
Ana's Attic says
You’re right. I DO tend to judge a bit on attire, I think we all do a bit. Attire reflects our personalities.
Ana's Attic says
I guy who is fixing something, wearing a tool belt. Yum (as long as no big beer gut or plumbers crack is hanging out)
