August 2024 Review and Release Recap

August was an AMAZING reading month! A few of the books I read/listened to will end up on my Best of the Year list. 2 of my most anticipated books of the year came out, Delicate Escape by Catherine Cowles and Out of Control by K. Bromberg, and Just For The Summer by Abby Jimenez was my surprise 5 star read.

I also got a new job this month working as an author PA, so I didn’t have quite as much time for my blog. I started up my other blog again, and posted twice on Starting On Monday, my midlife lifestyle blog.

AUGUST STATS: I posted over 450 New Book and Audiobook Releases (see below), listened to and reviewed 7 audiobooks, and posted 1 movie review. I also had my first DNFs of the year and I had THREE!!!! I got to 45% or more on all three and just couldn’t do anymore. I had two more audiobooks I listened to and one book I read that I haven’t reviewed yet.

Click the titles to see my detailed spoiler-free reviews with likes and dislikes and a short down & dirty review at the end. They also have all the purchase links.
