4,000 Facebook Likes Giveaway!

PrintHoly crap guys!!! Four-freakin-thousand???? That is so cool. You have no idea how grateful I am to each and every one of you. I love helping people find new books to read!

A year ago, my husband set up a webpage for me, in June, I turned it into a book blog, with a LOT of mistakes along the way.

I will be celebrating my blogoversary in June, so I will be doing a mini-big giveaway now, keeping the good stuff for my blogoversary.

If you are unaware, let me introduce you to some features of my blog. My Top Picks lists (some need a little updating) are a great place to start. I also have have Upcoming Releases with a full list of pre-orders as well as indie books. I also put series reading orders up. I am obsessed with reading series in order, so you can find all the orders there.

All book cover images go to Amazon. Speaking of Amazon, I am an Amazon affiliate. So that means every time you click on my link and purchase from Amazon, I get a few pennies. It’s not much, but it allows me to do giveaways like this! Also, do you see the amazon search on my sidebar? Anything you search for in there helps me out, it doesn’t have to be a link I have put out there. It also doesn’t cost you one extra cent. If you need diapers, search for them there, or click on a book, then go buy your diapers instead…I still get the pennies, otherwise Amazon keeps them.

Let’s talk FACEBOOK, since that is what this post is all about. Facebook has changed so much. Out of the 4,000 of you, only 600-700 see each post. The more you interact with a page, the more you will see it in your newsfeed. Notifications help, but you need to actually click the notifications to keep getting them. You must hover over likes, make sure you look at the options. Get in newsfeed, get notifications and add to interest lists helps. But unless you physically visit the page, you won’t see everything. Feel free to friend me ANA IVIES, as I am starting to share stuff there as well. There doesn’t seem to be a way to fix it. Facebook wants me to pay $50 PER POST to reach all of you.

    My personal 5star would be all Kristen Ashley series. Rock chic and family. I got so hooked I read them ALL (like every one in each series) very fast and dying for the next one!!! (But I have many others that stand out to me)

    My most recent 5-star read is Boycotts & Barflies by Victoria Michaels. It isn’t a new book but it has been in my tbr mountain forever so I thought it was time. I noticed that many of my Goodread buddies rated it 3 stars and lower. I usually agree with them. In this case, I must have been craving a feel good, no angst story. I found it witty and sweet. I try to stay away from saccharin sweet and chic lit books, but I don’t know why I enjoyed this one so much. I can try liken it to movie tastes. I abhor Will Ferrell films. His comedic style irritates me. I could barely stand Bewitched (and I just love anything Nicole Kidman). But I love those Leslie Neilsen Airplane! and Naked Gun movies. Go figure. And it could just be I get Victoria Michaels. I was the few that loved her Trust in Adverting also.

    To be honest, I don’t pay attention to stars or ratings on a book, if it looks like an interesting or a good read, then I purchase it and read it. To me all of Christine Feehan or Lora Leigh’s books are all 5 star.
