You Like Me!!! You Really Like Me!!!!!!

I haven’t blogged long, I was never really a big blog reader. But one day in March 2012, my husband set this whole thing up and said, “Here, have at it”. I read so many types of books, that I didn’t know what to focus on. Then I realized. I had read Fifty Shades of Grey back the summer before. Since then, I was obsessed with finding “Books Like Fifty Shades of Grey”. So I decided that was what I would focus on in my blog.

Neither of us knew what we were doing and made some big mistakes setting it up. I figured I’d be writing to NOBODY for a long time, maybe forever. Ana’s Diary was originally embedded into the Ana’s Attic site and never worked right. When I switched in June to the current format, I never thought anyone would come. But you do! A whole heck of a lot of you!

Now less than 2 months later I am even nominated for a bloggy award in not one, but two categories, plus a review!! Whoever you all are who nominated me, thanks so much!!!! The finals will be up next week and I would love if you came back and voted again. (Don’t worry, I’ll remind you)

I was nominated for Hottest Blog!!! Really? Never thought of it as really hot, but the books I read are! Should I make it hotter? My Facebook is where I post more man-meat so make sure you like that page. I also get silly on twitter, so send me funny, dirty or just friendly tweets!

I was also nominated for Best Breakout Blog (less than 6 months old). That makes sense since I’m a total noob. I have put so much time on this blog, and I still feel like I have NO CLUE what I’m doing. I wish I could do this for a living though, I really am having fun.

My Review of Alice Clayton’s The Unidentified Redhead “The Unidentified Redhead Made Me Happy” was also nominated!

Speaking of a living, running a blog does cost a little. Most of the giveaways are funded by me as well. I don’t do this blog for money (or I would be in big trouble), I do it because I love to read, I love to tell others about the books I love, I love to talk books, and honestly, my husband likes that I pick out all the toys I sell in the Red Room of Pain/Erotic Playroom. (It also gives me the excuse of “the blog” to look at hot man candy.) But I do make a few pennies when you purchase from my links. Every link on this blog goes either to another page on the blog or to Amazon unless it says otherwise. Every book cover goes to the Amazon link for that book. I am an affiliate of Amazon (US, UK, CA), Barnes and Noble US, and iBooks/iTunes US. So anytime you use any of those search bars on the side or bottom of my blog, I get a couple of cents from Amazon (you don’t pay more). Need diapers, backpacks, anything? Type it in my amazon search bar!

But more important than voting for the bloggy or buying through my site is, interact with me! Comment! Tell me what you’d like more or less of! Come back and re-read a review AFTER you buy the book and tell me if you agree or if you think I need my bloggers license taken away. Your comments are by far, the best thing to me. Sometimes I feel like I’m talking to nobody, but I was reassured on Facebook that wasn’t the case, thanks guys.
