Hello and happy last Tuesday of the month! I can’t believe it’s almost October already. Where did this last year (or last 3 years) go? I am having a hysterectomy next month and as it gets closer I am getting more scared. So I just made plans to visit my son in Nashville next week and my younger son is meeting me there for a last minute family weekend before I go under the knife. I get to see my son’s band play a pre-show for Phish and then go to the Phish concert as well, I’m excited for that, I hear they put on a really cool show. I have been listening to so many books, but I am falling behind on reviews because I don’t want to stop listening long enough to write them, but I try to catch up at the end of the month so look for lots of reviews this week.
I listened to the first in the Charlie Davidson Series by Darynda Jones on the way to and from dropping my son off to college, and it totally kept me distracted from all of my emotions, and I finished the second in the series on the way home. It reminds me a lot of Janet Evonovich’s Stephanie Plum series, just with a paranormal twist, reviews to come. I also listened to Runaway Road by Devney Perry (I bought the whole series for one credit! See my latest review), and I am now bingeing on the rest of the series. The Protector by Susan Stoker, and Love on The Byline by Xio Axelrod are books I read this month as well, and I’m trying to find the time to review them.
Tyrant by RK Lilley came out earlier this month. It’s been like 6 years since she released last and I can’t wait to read it! I started last week, but haven’t really had time to read. I wish it was in audio!
